ADS Maestro iDatalink Steering Wheel Interface ADS-MRR w/ 05-09 Chrysler HRN-RR-CH2 Integration Harness

This set was a MUST to replace the premium audio system in my '04 Durango WITH factory entertainment system. There isn't another factory stereo interface that could actually make an aftermarket stereo work in that vehicle...period. The nice thing, though, is that, I think when I get rid of the truck, I can pull the interface and use it in something else and, at worst, just change the manufacturer harness, so that's good....

The product did make my amplifier compatible, but not my steering wheel controls. The only SWC that was programmable was 1 for volume up or down (whichever I chose). I had a highly qualified engineer helping with the install and I called the support team. They were nice, but all they could tell me was since I didn’t have a stereo that was one they have the specs on, I could try to flash the unit using a generic stereo option I believe it was pioneer 2009 and newer. After hours of troubleshooting and trying different wire configurations, nothing worked! If it wasn’t for my amplifier I would’ve sent the unit back. Way too expensive to only get partial usage. I would only recommend it you’re using this interface with a stereo brand recognized on their website. Even then, it’s still not as plug and play as you think.

This made my install of my new headunit SO easy. Configured it on my computer, connected the wiring harness together, and plugged everything from my head unit into, worked perfectly the first time. My car doesn't have any steering wheel controls, but the reverse signal works and all the CAN BUS stats for the motor work perfectly.

Wasn't sure that this was worth it but it males a factory radio to a newer radio easier to connect

I was able to maintain the satellite radio, stering wheel control, uconnect, and factory amp in my 07 300c. 0
