Just wonderful
Had this tea at a spa and it was really lovely so decided to buy myself a gift. It is expensive but for a special treat, it’s good. The taste is very subtle and I as a whole don’t like a sented tea but this is different and made a lovely change

Good white tea
This white tea enchants with a subtle colour reflecting purity. Reasonably priced for 40 cups, making it accessible.

Tasty white tea at a reasonable price
Silver needle white tea is one of the more expensive brews, but, if you like the taste, this is a good option. Full of flavour, decent packaging and makes a lovely cup of tea. I brew for exactly five minutes and find that's about perfect in terms of strength.

Delicious
I have always been a fan of white tea, and this is up there with some of the best that I have had.The paper pack is easy to open, and it’s stuffed full of soft delicate silver needles.I use a small pinch per cup and brew for around 5 mins. This is just right for a lovely, delicate cup of white tea.I will be buying these again.

High quality loose leaves, good for re-steeping 2 or 3 times
These are high quality loose tea leaves from Yunnan province in southwest China. Yunnan is said to be the birthplace of tea. The leaves look like needles with silver tips (yin zhen means silver needles in Mandarin). Silver needle is said to be the most glamorous and costly white tea on earth – the Rolls Royce of teas. The needles crumble when pressed, which with normal teas might indicate it’s not fresh but these are needles (avoid crumbling before brewing). It’s slightly sweet and a bit mild for my tastes, but this is reasonable value and seems to be authentic. I was able to re-steep twice with the same results.

Very good quality white tea with a pleasant flavour
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers.Although I usually drink black tea, I like to mix it up from time to time with green tea or white tea. I find many white teas either too bitter or too grassy, and as a result I either go for a pomegranate white tea blend, or make sure I buy silver tips as is the case with this packet. The tea arrives sealed in a foil packet which can be resealed when opened, although I would recommend transferring the leaves into a proper airtight container. The leaves themselves show that this is a very good quality tea - they are light green/silver in colour, and are full leaves, not the part leaf or broken leaves that you find with many cheaper versions.Although instructions are supplied in the description on how to brew the tea, I would always recommend trying a variety of temperatures and steeping times as flavour is a very personal thing and you will eventually find what works for you. Personally I found that using water just off the boil (I can't stand tepid tea!) and allowing the leaves to brew for 3-4 minutes gave a light golden tea that was very pleasant to drink. The taste is extremely smooth, with absolutely no bitterness, evidencing that the leaves were indeed young and fresh.Highly recommended for tea lovers.

Delicious and delicate white tea
This is a delicious silver needle white tea. When you open the packet, the aroma hits you straight away - it smells amazing - light and floral. The distinctive thick, downy white, fuzzy tea buds don't contain any leaves (which hints at why silver needle teas are usually on the more expensive side - they're much harder to harvest and in much smaller quantities).Brewed, the tea is pale to golden and you still get the amazing aroma and a very delicate slightly floral tasting tea with a slight natural sweetness. In short, it's delicious and well worth a rotation for all tea lovers.

One for the connoisseur
This tea is definitely one for the connoisseur. I have never tried it before; but now that I have, I can say that I enjoyed it. Each tea leaf (or bud?) is 2-3 cm long, and has fine hairs on it. They swell up once in boiling water. You need to steep them for at least 5 mins to get a decent colour and taste (maybe longer?). The tea is nice and clear, light yellowy brown, has a quite subtle aroma, and the taste is also subtle. Chinese teas I have tasted before are usually pungent, sweet or floral tasting. This tea is more like a woody/grassy flavour. It reminded me a little of decent camomile tea – and I understand that it has vey little caffein, so I think it would make a good bedtime tea.
