Very durable hiking shoe boots. Excellent grip in less than ideal trail condemns. Firm ankle support over rocky and tree root terrain. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Merrel is my go to for hiking and casual wear. Very good value. My collection has boots that are 7 tears old and feel and perform like day 1. The lightweight sneaker last about 2-3 years before a foot bed breakdown. That's a good thing.

These Boots Are great. I've had multiple pairs of Merrill shoes and wanted something more like a boot. I read several reviews talking about the eyelets popping out and had a co-worker who told me the same thing, but mine hold strong. I don't tie my boots super tight so it's not an issue for me. I just pull all the slack from the eyelets without grabbing the ends of the laces and jerking hard. No problem. Good warmth, decent ankle support, (they are a low cut boot) and best of all great light weight. I'll buy another pair when I wear these out!

These are comfortable shoes after roughly a month of breaking in. However, there are no lacing hooks at the top of the boot. What looks like a hook is actually a hook shaped eyelet. This makes it a hassle to put on these boots and tighten the lower laces.

Wore for 1 month and the sole is falling apart. Not even going on challenging hikes. Walking my dogs on southern New England trails. This is my second pear of merrell boots this year and will not be ever buying again

I love Merrell boots, but these are hard miss for me. I have an issue with my feet, and I wear size 13 wide in many other footwear. Well even a 12 Wide is way too large, as my insoles flop while walking. Additionally, these feel like blocks while walking. Quality is superior, but you really need to go to store to try these in because now I'm out of $100 because I cant return these after wear.

Great boots lite but sturdy

Great fit and comfortable for long hours on feet at work. New iniform called for new color boots and glad Merrell had then in this color so I can keep wearing them both at work and off duty.
