THE NORTH FACE Womens Osito 2 Jacket

I am 5'8 and weigh 144 lbs, and this XL is a perfect fit, even the neck is perfect. I love the fabric, so soft and cuddly, and I love the color as well. The color stands up in an attractive manner, but closes around my neck perfectly whenOnce again as in another of my reviews, I must say that my only criticism is the logo on the rear shoulder. Again, I find it terribly UGLY and poorly placed; what a shame to mar this lovely jacket that way. Why couldn't it be in the same color as the jacket, as with so many of the other jackets! instead of this totally inappropriately DARK color which in no way matches the jacket!!! I wonder whose idea that was. They should be reprimanded. I am just stuck with it being there, I guess, but it is totally unnecessary and ugly. SO WHY???. The logo on the front could also be a lighter color to match the jacket.I have several other North Face jackets, which are also XL, and the fit slightly different depending on the fabric. the Raschel silky fleece is much roomier, and I absolutely love it. It also is exceptionally soft and luxurious, and I think I actually like this Raschel fabric better, but it could just be because I love it so much. I have 3 in this fabric now. They are all marvelously soft, but my two other Ositos, that are the newer fabric, (slightly striped, woven with 2 colors, but also a wonderfully soft fleece) just somehow seems to have more body to them, and hold their shape better, That may change with wear. I have 5 Ositos now and none of them have ever shed, so I don't understand the reviews that complain about shedding. I would probably buy more, but cannot get the other colors I would like in the size XL.Yes, they do come stuffed in plastic bags, while I often get bottles of pills etc. in sturdy cardboard boxes, and I don't understand that. Perhaps the packing decision was made by the same person who decided the ugly dark logo should deface the back of these lovely jackets!! No, I do realize it could not have been the same person, I am just aggravated to have that ugly thing on the back of my new jacket! My other colored jackets have the rear logo in the same color as the jacket, while the LIGHT BEIGE jackets are defaced with this really dark brownish thing! It looks like some sort of dreadful stain on my back!!! And there is no way to remove it!!

I really do like this jacket. It is soft on both the outside and inside. But it does shed. I paired this with some peach colored scrubs at work one night, and by the next morning, my pants were coated in black fuzz/fur/stuff. Unfortunately, it gives tiny spiders a great way to blend in on colors (ahhh!) Luckily, I usually wear black anyhow so it's not too big of a deal (I pretend spiders are only there if I can see them) The sleeves could be a bit longer for my taste, but I honestly prefer sleeves to reach my knuckles. These sit right at my wrists if I'm not moving too much. I like that the pockets zip although they aren't easy to zip with one hand.I wanted the triclimate but was apprehensive to order something with that price tag online. I pair this with a hooded rain jacket I already had in a different brand and I imagine I would have liked the triclimate had I not purchased this instead. I do wish this came with a hood (although if it shed the same way, I imagine I'd complain about all of the fuzz in my hair/probably in my eyes).

Mike of Outdoor Equipped purchased this NorthFace /Jacket thru Amazon. And I never seem to be a person to not be satisfied. But was so excited to rec this jacket that when it arrived and I opened it I was disappointed. Why Color Vintage White was not white as shown in color description. It is more of a beige/silver white. Ok that was exceptable and the small size was perfect for me.. But upon the first time I wore this jacket the fleece did nothing but shed all over the car,seat belt and my bllk Gaiam yoga pants. So OK thought I would put it in the dyrer and let it shed. But to no avail. So I washed it which helped somewhat. The jacket was one I have wanted for months but thought it was a little pricie. Since it was on my mind and would work well for the area I live in I bit the bullet as they say. I have a friend who has this same jacket but in pure white (which I couldnt find in many searches) I ask her if hers shed NO. Not even her new black one which she recvd as a Christmas gift this past year from hubby. And yes purchased from Amazon too. For the future maybe fine another North Face vendor to supply customers. You asked for my review in a email and I am responding. But for those of u out there who want this jacket it is a very worm jacket and all described features match description shown. Just watch out for the color Vintage White . Thx

My daughter wanted a North Face, so I found this one and she seemed to like it from the pictures online. I thought it looked like it would be a little thin to wear for a winter jacket, but she swore all of her friends were wearing them and that they were the warmest thing ever. Granted my experience with North Face had been with their big heavy winter parkas and I knew they were super warm and worked for hiking the Appalachian Trail in the dead of winter, but I still wasn't sure that it would really cut it. I did break down and get it for her. She loved how stylish and trendy it was and swore it was warm. After about a month she finally broke down and admitted it really isn't that warm for the winter weather as we asked her why she was doubling up on shirts when she wore it. It may look nice in other words, but don't trust it to keep you warm.

Super kuschelig Jacke die ich wirklich gerne trage. Die Jacke hält schön warm und passt genau.Auch bei kalten Tagen friert man nicht. Waschen war auch kein Problem. Qualität ist sehr gut.Ich würde die Jacke immer wieder kaufen. Top. Empfehlenswert.

Fantasticamente morbido e caldo, veste però abbondante. Ho preso la stessa giacca anche in nero, e nero mostra meno l'ampiezza. Ma argento è bellissimo! E va benone per uscire a -10 per una decina di minuti senza percepire il freddo! Soddisfatta

Bellissima, comoda, calda e soprattutto il materiale è di qualità eccellente. È morbidissima. North face è sempre una garanzia. Veste normale, io ho voluto una M (di solito porto una S) mi sta leggermente abbondane. Sono più che soddisfatta
