Let's be honest here. This helmet isn't really going to do much to protect your skull. It may help a little bit. It even says in the product description it's a novelty item. The main reason I purchased this item was to protect my bald head from the Florida sun. It's not a huge bulbous helmet like the ones that actually protect your head but it looks cool and has a small profile. It seems to run a little large as far as size. I usually get a medium helmet but the small fits my head well. You may want to go one size down.

The only problem is no matter the size they are still a little loose. But they look great not like a mushroom head. And for the money you can't beat it .

This helmet is very small, flimsy and not safe at all! I wouldn’t even trust my nephew to wear it on his bicycle. I can bend the helmet with my hands. It looks nice and very light but not worth it if your looking to have a safe helmet.

I gotta say for buying a helmet on Amazon to ride motorcycles isn’t my normal routine especially wen it comes to protecting my head, I usually go to the motorcycle shop and buy from them even tho they’re twice as expensive but I know what I’m getting where as from Amazon it’s sight unseen and a gamble. But surprisingly it fit well and is very comfortable and didn’t take long at all to receive it, so definitely impressed for like I said sight unseen, Good job Amazon once again a positive review..

Its sizes run small . Other than that it’s a good alternative to mushroom head .
