Best traveling backpack ever. I have not found a backpack for traveling that I love more. It’s so versatile and SO many pockets!

Lots of pockets but they open up while walking and stuff falls out, zippers fail

This bag was a real joy to travel with. I got this particular one so I could use it small now and use the expanded version next year when I backpack around Europe, so i will update after that. I flew on Frontier and didn't want to pay for a full carryon, so I used a belt bag to carry important items (wallet, phone, etc) and brought this as my personal item. It worked great. The only critique, and why I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the chest strap isn't adjustable. For a women with anything but a small chest like me, the strap will be impossible or at the very least very uncomfortable to clip across the chest, it's almost like it's built exclusively for men. I ended up sucking it up and clipping it even though it looked a bit funny, but it is much more comfortable when clipped. So if you're a woman who is even a little bit busty, and you want this bag to carry heft and intend to clip it, I'd look at other bags.

Loves: the buckles do not impede the operation of the front pocket or laptop pocket zippers. That's key if you're going through a lot of security checkpoints. The way the laptop pocket folds all the way down is very nice. The expansion is ideal, and it is a personal item size when not expanded. Fabric is durable and seems almost waterproof.

I was looking to maximize the size of the permitted personal item for flights. This is advertised as 17.7 inches high (18 inches is permitted by most airlines), but it's actually just 16 inches high. I didn't measure the other dimensions. My other observation is that it has way too many compartments and subdivisions. It's unnecessary and actually becomes counterproductive at some point. The quality seems fine for the price. Zippers look a bit flimsy. I returned this and bought the WANDF Travel Backpack instead. That one is sized just as advertised and all around seems like a better designed product.

Graet for air travel

Great bag for travel!! I was able to use it as my personal item so it fit the airline size restrictions, yet open it up and stuff it full for all our daily needs on land. Love it!!
