Doing photography outdoors with clients is a struggle in itself, and this screen shade has helped me elevate my photography/videography production cart with absolutely no effort. It literally just works. Pop it on your laptop and not only did it help with privacy from passerbys, my client didnt have to do the awkward squint and block the sun from their eyes when looking at my computer for preview shots. This is a mainstay for all my shoots!

This product is not the complete answer but it is an answer. Designed for privacy and glare prevention. It does meet those needs.The material feels like leather but it’s probably imitation which is not bad since It has slits at the edge to anchor to the corners of your laptop screen. Leather would stretch. This material seems more durable.The side edge rest on your laptop screen. By virtue of gravity, the device stays in place with the side flaps against your screen.There is no adhesive or magnets attaching to your laptop. This has no self-illumination.I feel this may cost more to make than it’s worth. I paid over $50 (including shipping) This product can be made with more economical materials and likely cost $20 less.There is a need for this item but the corner slots, which is a key feature to keep the item in place, is poorly thought out. They could have used a shoe string, 550 cord, small strap, and a whole other material that can do better than a rip in the material. The slit is not reinforced so it’ll likely get bigger with continued use.

I was hoping that this would be the miracle worker that I have been searching forever for. I am often outside or need to be while on my laptop but it’s just untenable. This product was clunky, unsightly, and most importantly didn’t help the issue at all.

Sadly, it's a pricy piece of plastic that slips off, covers the camera of your computer and generally doesn't stay in place. i was thrilled to find this and thought I had finally found a solution to working on the deck. Alas...too late to return or else I would.
