Got this to make my own mini Godzilla bongos. Seems to mold easily, plus air dry is a bonus.
I wanted to get model bongos so that our toy Godzilla could play bongos like real-life Richard Feynman. (It's the truth and I also hope that the folks who read (and those who review) Amazon reviews will find it amusing. But I couldn't find any toy bongos that were the right size, or that weren't really expensive, so decided to make my own.But I did not want to have to deal with all the chemical cleanup of regular polymers so decided this air dry clay for children would be an environmentally. It arrived quickly, and seems very easy to do somewhat detailed sculpting with it. Yay, Godzilla bongos! Thank you, Amazon.

Great item
Model Magic is my son’s first choice when it comes to making his figures for Claymation. This color is exactly what he needed and expected.

Great caramel color
Color was the perfect “caramel” color for the caramel apple pumpkin I made! In the photo, I used the model magic just for the base. I intended to use on pumpkin too but only ordered one thinking it would be enough. My fault!

Good stuff
I really like this Crayola Model Magic. But I prefer the white. I bought several packs for my granddaughter and she said she likes it better than play doh. It’s very light and easy to work and form. Very easily painted or colored with markers, no need to wait till it’s completely dry.

Love the texture!
The texture of this is awesome. It feels like the smooth outside of a really soft marshmallow. It's not at all sticky...more soft and velvety. I must now buy it in all the colors!

Very disappointed in this vendor!
This vendor gets one star because I didn't read all of the way down the page to the color of the Model Magic - so for this error, I take responsibility. However, the picture clearly shows a 2-pound tub of White Model Magic. Today in the mail I received 4 ounces of Earthtone. What a shock! I thought I ordered 2 pounds and got 1/8th of the product I wanted! Very deceptive advertising.

NOT JUST FOR KIDS!
I am in the process of trying out modeling and polymer clays and plan to add a basic clay modeling class to my arts/crafts instruction line-up. I'm a beginner clay artist and mostly use push molds and have used polymer clay and then DAS paper clay, which is pretty good too. But I really love Crayola Model Magic! It is so easy to use, doesn't get get all over your hands and if kept properly sealed, is very soft to use right out of the bag. DAS has good qualities too, and polymer is harder once dried and you can do incredible things with polymer that probably wouldn't work as well or wouldn't work at all with other softer clays. The downside of polymer for me is all the hand-kneading required for to get it workable, so I get kind of impatient with it and then when I have some joint pain flares in my right thumb, I don't want to bother with it sometimes. I know Model Magic was created for kids, but adults can use it too and it's reasonably priced. So if you enjoy using push molds or hand-modeling, give this stuff a try.I also like that it's U.S. made. I saw a cheaper store brand but it was made in China

Kids love it
My Kids think it's hilarious to make piles of dookie with this and scare me with it. They do have loads of fun with it so I guess it was worth purchasing.
