I was looking for replacement parts for a roof hatch.I was not able to find the same struts.But the ones I purchased were quite similar.With a little ingenuity I was able to remove the old struts and install the new ones.I’m pleased with the results.

The shocks is just what my spa/cabin bar needed. It made it easy to lift, hold up and close.

Worked perfectly and very strong , the 45lbs is correct lifted my tonneau cover on my 2012 Toyota Tundra with ease, so strong that to close it took more effort than before which means they are working as advertised

I’m sure the struts are fine, but in my case I needed exactly 20 inches from pivot point to pivot point. The strut turned out to only be about 19.2 inches which would not allow my boat hatch door to open all the way. It has to open all the way to allow the ketch to engage. Another typical company giving false information. I guess for a hatch of a car or a truck. it probably is not a big deal, but for a boat it has to be just right.

They were 40 lb which I didn't realize as the ones they replaced were 25lb so not as easy to use.There was no instructions how to take apart and install. Fortunately it was understandable.

Changed out my hot tub cover holder actuator in 5 mins, worked out great !
