Review: Perfect! - A 40cm tray ought to fit in the oven of my slender (50cm) cooker, woudn't you think? Well no - it was just too wide to rest on one of the shelves! Luckily though, it slid neatly into the shelf slots as if it were a shelf in its own right, so on the day it was delivered I went ahead and prepared the mixture for my madeleines. It's a heavy, solid tray. It doesn't bend or flex in the oven, and it produces perfectly risen and browned madeleines after ten minutes cooking. I've used it a couple of times already, and I'm delighted with the results. The non-stick coating works well. If the tray is properly buttered and floured first, and the madeleines are left to cool for about three minutes, they release themselves perfectly. I love this tray.

It's extremely sturdy and quite heavy but in a good way. Made my first batch today (as shown) and it only needed a light greasing and they popped out nice and easily. Cleaned well in soapy water. Very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend.
