Organic Toothpaste Tablets - My 10 Day Review
Before I start writing my review it is important to note that I have tried this product twice a day as part of a routine over a ten day period to ensure I get used to the product. This also helps me go into more detail in the product review. As with any product it can feel odd at first however we do get used to it. Likewise before trying this toothpaste tablet I have been with a different brand which was a natural toothpaste in a plastic tube. For some the change from a commercial brand to a natural brand is a huge jump in terms of ingredients used and taste.I bought these tablets as a way to cut down how much plastic I use, while a few tubes a year might not sound like much it does add up. Secondly the tablets are easier for travel and you get getting the correct amount of toothpaste. I find it easy to add too much or little onto my brush which may mean you go through the tube a little quicker. When travelling on holiday I do not need to buy a small tube of toothpaste and make it last or take a regular sized one. I could count the days I am on holiday and take out the tablets I need and put them into a small container. Having said that the container the tablets come in is fairly small. The tablets are something to get used to, I won't be the first to admit that. Going from a paste to a tablet seems minuscule but the concept of biting into a tablet of toothpaste is different. That hurdle I got adjusted to fairly quickly. The taste is something people seem to love or like, and I had watched reviews and read prior to trying the product. There is a fizz to the product which is down to the sodium bicarbonate which helps whiten teeth, there is also a slight salt taste which is good for oral hygiene. The biggest thing for me to get used to was the charcoal as when you are finished with brushing your teeth you see black in your sink. The product came in a glass container with a cardboard holder. The external packaging was also cardboard as provided by Amazon themselves. All the tablets held their structure and none have broken.Using the product was fairly easy and once I had gotten used to it there was not much of a difference to conventional brushing. My overall conclusions for the product are very positive. While I did not like the product at first how many things do we try first time and like. Over a week taken twice a day as dentists recommend I had gotten used to the taste. The product is also vegan, fluoride free, organic, cruelty free and gluten free at the time of writing which are some very good principles to get behind.

Strong taste but works well
Works well. But be prepared for a *very* strong minty taste with no sweetness — shocking at first after using traditional fluoride toothpaste. I’ve gotten used to it, but some might not!

Taste awful
I've had toothpaste tablets before and use them when travelling with varying degrees of success. These at least don't crumble to pieces like some I've had. However the taste and fizz are just awful. After 4 tablets I gave up and bought a normal tube which fills my toilet bag. The relief in not having to undergo the dental torment twice a day was immense. If they sort the taste I may go back to them.

Nice idea but not nice to use
I bought these for travelling and because I was trying to go plastic free. After using them for about a week, I was craving using usual toothpaste. The taste and mintyness were fine but having to crunch the tablets and start brushing before potentially swallowing the fizzing powder was not pleasant. I would use them for occasional use only.

More environmentally friendly
OK, so when I first used them they tasted really salty, but after a few days you get used to it and they really make your teeth feel clean. Been using them for a few months now and doubt I'll change to anything else. The little jars can be kept for odds and sods too instead of being recycled and no plastic in sight which is great.

Random flavour
I have bought these twice. The ones I got first were perfect. I chose a non minty flavour for a reason (family of autistics) and the first ones I bought delivered. The second ones I bought are really minty, I didn't want that, I wanted what I bought before. These come in a range of flavours including ones literally called "mint".I'm so annoyed!Amazon refunded which I'm grateful for but now what am I to do for toothpaste?

Could be mintier.
They work quite well & don't leave you with a salivery aftertaste. Take a little getting used to but it's worth it. Try them. Could be a bit mintier, though.
