One of the Greatest Albums of All Time
Need a quiet way to wake up in the morning? Put on 'Breezin'So, you've had a bad day? Put on 'Breezin'Hanging out with friends? Put on 'Breezin'Making a delicious steak dinner? Put on 'Breezin'Or something more vegan-oriented? Still put on 'Breezin'Christmastime? Better put on 'Breezin'You know when the operator tells you they'll have to put you on hold, and then that smooth jazz kicks in and you think to yourself, I can actually get behind this...but as you click out of the call to Shazam it the party you have been trying to reach actually picks up and you fear during the whole conversation that follows that you may never experience the magic of that musical moment again? Well, you're in luck. George Benson wrote 'Breezin' for you to hold on to that feeling forever. Thank you George Benson. Thank you.

Could have been better but i'll take it
This was one of the most superb pop jazz releases of the seventies. Mr.Benson came into his own after many years releasing excellent albums following the footsteps of Wes Montgomery. The production by Tommy LePuma is stellar and make one of the best sounding records of that or any other era. This was the demo recording I used to show off my hi-fi. This hybrid multichannel cd does not necessarily improve on the original LP's fidelity but is an enjoyable aural experience nonetheless. It doesn't sound like they were able to secure the original master for this edition. Still the multichannel aspect is appealing as all channels are used to great effectiveness. Recommended with the noted comment on the overall sound.

Great album for everyone..
Great album, one of my all-time favorite jazz albums; this one got me listening to something other than the rock I was familiar with. You need to get a new copy, because there’s many quiet parts that will be ruined by pops/clicks/scratches or dirty used albums. Sound quality is OK, kinda subdued in tone; I’d say “smooth” and “chill”.

the music is great. I have always generally noticed that Jazz/Funk music ...
I am not reviewing the music, rather the audio quality of the Multichannel SACD. Of course, the music is great. I have always generally noticed that Jazz/Funk music tends to have exceptional bass, yet this disc is simply a big disappointment in those terms. Yeah, the overall audio on this is very clear, excellent highs, etc. But wow - no bass at all. Such a disappointment. Had I known this to be the case, I would have saved my money.

Love this CD
I Play it in the car often when I am driving. It makes me feel good. It brings back good memories for me. I bought this album around 1976-1977. Lost a CD version during a move. So had to buy another to replace. Can't be without it.

Great music, standard cd version
I just wanted to let potential buyers know that even though the auto rip & mp3 version offered here on Amazon is the remastered edition with the 3 bonus tracks, the actual cd you will receive is the standard 6 track version. No need to comment on the album, it is great as you should know by now. I just wanted to clarify which cd version you are actually buying since the cd & mp3 versions are linked together but are different.

Brings back wonderful memories!
Years and years ago, this was the music we listen to on our little 18 foot outboard. Now, 45 years married, we listen to it on our 34 foot, aft cabin, Tollycraft. Still wonderful, still making memories!

"Classic Benson"
This is a must for the serious jazz fan for anyone who wants George Benson at the top of his game with only one vocal on the record which is "This Masquerade". Classic Masterpiece!

classic jazz fusion
A classic jazz album, bought on cd for the first time, even though I know it so well, it's sure to add to the collection nicely.Possibly the best of George's efforts before he went totally MOR (too far for my tastes)The whole album has a relaxed air, with most tracks familiar airplay fodder, if you don't think you've heard it(anyone out there fit that category?) -well, you probably have, in an elevator somewhere, sometime. For all that, it's timeless.Bought as a present, arrived sealed looks fine so far.Ordered in the pre Christmas run-up, delivered quickly

Price
Played well and arrived on time. The insert was reproduced and not print was not aligned properly. Print is easily recognised as not original to insert but us okay for price paid. Just needs attention to wording printed on insert.
