Bme Vivian Headboard ONLY, Rustic & Scandinavian Style with Solid Acacia Wood, Easy Assembly, King, Rustic Golden Brown

When I saw this headboard, I secretly hoped it would look so nice that I’d never go looking for a higher end version of it and could just keep it forever. It doesn’t look as nice as that, but it does look pretty nice for the price point and much nicer than a blank wall. Whereas a high end version of this headboard would have disguised the seams better so that the long wood pieces aren’t so obviously glued together, this headboard does not do that and you can clearly see where there are very different colors of wood brought together in the top rail, for instance. The chevron design should look patchwork, but the top rail should at least pretend to be a solid piece of wood. When I have space, I might restain it entirely and see if I can disguise those seams better. Aside from that, the headboard was shipped very well packaged and nearly intact except for putting the legs on. The instructions and hardware are similar to IKEA furniture, and no additional tools were needed. It was easy to put together, and I could have done it by myself, but because it was King size a helper was suggested and very useful. I appreciated that it came with hardware and instructions to attach it to a wall or a metal or a wood bed frame. Aside from the obvious seams, the staining is lovely and even, and when put together the whole thing feels heavy, sturdy, and well constructed. I think it’s an incredible value for the money and the fact that you can get anywhere near this look for this price is really great. When I stain the nightstands to look similarly patchwork, it’s going to look stunning in here. So while it may not fool anyone into thinking it’s high end furniture, it’s still a lovely headboard and I can recommend buying it.

Well-made, sturdy, not smelly, really pretty. We love it! We are so happy we were able to only purchase the headboard instead of the complete platform bed. We enjoy sleeping higher off the ground, with a mattress and split box springs. This headboard works perfectly for our set up. We purchased a 14" metal frame, some frame modification (modi) plates, and this headboard. If you want to mount this headboard to your frame, you MUST buy modi plates (not included) or you'll find the holes don't line up. You can just mount it to your wall if you prefer, but I didn't want to do that. A little extra work to attach the plates to the frame and headboard, and we were able to get this set up just how I want it to be. This is a gorgeous, affordable headboard with classic Nordic / MCM vibes. I couldn't be happier.

This head board was very easy to put together and looks great in our space! The wood color and detail is beautiful!

Really pretty. My only issue was that it didn’t fit my bed frame to bolt on. It was wider than my frame was for a queen bed.

I was looking for a way to make my adjustable base look like an actual bed, and now it does! I needed to buy extra nuts and bolts, but I am very happy with it. Since it is so pretty, I also bought the matching nightstand.

Woodworker (oak, maple, walnut furniture, etc.) for over 40 years. The headboard is nicely crafted. I appreciate the color and the character of the facade. Some here complain about the MDF-type backing; MOST furniture I have seen/worked on/owned is veneer over MDF/particleboard. SOLID wood furniture is very expensive, heavy, and wasteful and is generally limited to framing, both structural and appearance, as is this item. Veneer has been the go-to choice for hundreds of years, maybe longer. IMHO for the price this headboard is a steal. It may take some creative adjustment to fit some bed frames. Take a photo of the bottom of the headboard leg and the bed frame connection point on your phone and bring them with you to the hardware store, along with some measurements. Lowes or Home Depot are good sources for help and you just might learn that you can DIY something , emphasis on the Y for YOURSELF.

The headboard looks nice but is a strange width and doesn’t come with hardware to attach to a bed frame. You NEED to purchase the modi brackets for this to fit, so factor that into your budget/purchase. I don’t know why you’d sell a bed frame without including the screws attach it to a bed. The frame is a few inches too wide to fit in a king size frame. I tried buying a king US size, but it never shipped. I ended up getting the regular king size and it arrived the next day. They don’t say what king vs king US means so I assumed they meant California king? Other than the size issue, it does look nice and seems well built. My only other issue is the lines in the wood. It would look a lot nicer without all the extra cuts in each piece of wood.
