SO GOOD I GOT 2 MORE
I'm still a newbee on the Uke, I find that this book is excellent. It's small & compact, almost pocket size, certainly the right size to take around with you. Each subject within the book is very well explained and easy follow. Making it (for me) almost encouraging. It is almost like you have a personal teacher, willing you on to do better. In fact I found it so good I purchased 2 more copies, so that I can have one in most of the places where I tend to practice without having to remember to take it with me every time. (it works for me, & the price makes it possible)

I was the student now I am the master!!
I had previously bought Erich's Ebook from [...] which I would highly recommend if you haven't got it already, so when I saw this I jumped at the chance to get the kindle book. Although I have been playing the ukulele on and off for over a year now I have kind of hit a wall with how to increase my skills and improve my playing, this certainly does the trick! I would consider myself a seasoned beginner but this book is perfect for everyone, the style of the narrative is very clear and concise so very easy to learn and gives you the opportunity to learn the basic principles as well as some of the more difficult techniques so good for all kinds of ukulele player. It is also supported by video tutorials and at the price it is an absolute bargain, get buying and get practicing!

Very useful
I've bought a few books to get all the info I can, this is a really useful addition at a great price, I was doubtful it would be any good on my kindle, but I can even read it easily on my phone so I'm very happy. You can tell the author is very keen to help, hes also on youtube giving lots of tips and has his own website, I don't think he sleeps.

hard work but worth it
This is an ideal Ukulele primer, if you have the patience. It is very thorough. Because I have already been playing guitar for 40 years I skipped a lot of bits. Good book though

My Guitar/Uke Sage
I'll try to leave a fuller review later but for now it's enough to say that Eric is the reason I'm playing guitar/ukelele. His infectious enthusiasm and clear explanations made me think that, at 26, it wasn't too late to pick up an axe (hatchet in the case of the uke?) and just flat out play...and I'll always be grateful for that. Be sure to check his youtube videos too, I think they're across a few channels now but 'yourguitarsage' will get you there or thereabouts. Rawk on!1!1

Erich is the Master in The Art of being Concise and yet really Profound
If someone can read, undertand and apply all the concepts in this book he will be without doubt a great musician and Uke player. Even better that most of the concepts are from music theory so it can be applied in different instruments as well, especially the guitar.

I Don't Have A UKE But......
I don't have a ukulele, I've never played a ukulele, But.... I think that everyone will agree with the following points: First off, even though most of us play regular guitar, many of us are very interested in other instruments and their tunings. And, if you think about it many times in the hands of some of the most famous guitarists you will find these unique instruments. You say to yourself, what are these guys doing with these things. Well, what they know is is that these instruments over and above a stand-alone role, add spice and all kinds of textures to their music. Have you ever strummed a particular new chord, and all of a sudden you instantly feel like you can strum a unique and new song just based on that one chord? Well, what I see is these people actually playing things that are unique to what you normally hear for them but yet the same time somehow weirdly fit. And, when you translate these to guitar it expands your knowledge. What this is all about, and that I'm getting to, is that just perusing this book, has allowed me to see different things that I can apply to my guitar. What I would really like to tell you however is how good this book is even though I may not pick up this instrument. The author has been the same amount of concentration and attention to detail that you see in his other books. From my experience with his other books, I heartily recommend this one.In closing, if the ukulele is your instrument of choice, please get this book. The price is very very modest, and will allow you to quickly become more proficient with this instrument. This author is a very hard-working and conscientious individual. His YouTube videos are legendary and you can see that he really really wants to bring as many people into playing string guitar instruments; and not only that, keep them playing which is probably his greatest attribute and contribution. And finally, purchasing this book does so much more than give the author simple profits; it helps him bring more good things to us and especially those wonderful YouTube lesson videos.

Summer will be sweeter!
Can't wait to dive into this book with my new Ukelele that I brought back from Hawaii. Will be strumming new tunes by the pool with the Tiki bar in full action this summer thanks to Erich's new book. This one is laid out the same way as Erich's guitar book so the learning curve will be the same - I've already had great results with it and so look forward to the same here. Thanks again Erich!
