The perfect fanless 12V DC power supply
This power supply is perfect and I am very happy with my purchase. The price ($33) was also very good considering the high quality of Mean Well. I bought this to replace my Alitove 12V 30A since it requires active cooling and the fan is a bit noisy, and I was not making use of the additional amps. As you may already know, 200W is the maximum power that still does not require a fan. A couple of important notes that may explain the bad experiences other users have reported: 1) This model has an input voltage selector (120/240V). The unit I receive came with the selector set to 240V and I didn't realize before connecting it to the outlet. The led did not turned on and there was no DC current at all. I unplugged it as soon as I found out, change the selector, and fortunately everything worked as expected. 2) Be sure to use the proper wire gauge. The one I had around was 18AWG, which is capable of handling around 9Amps. If your load requires more, get a thicker wire, or if there are multiple loads (in my case a bunch of hard disks), balance the load using multiple 18 AWG to the PSU (which has 3 pairs of connectors for DC).

Nice quiet power supply
I am tired of listening to fans so I opted for this fan less model. It works well and is almost silent. With a 10amp load it makes no audible noise. But I have been using it with about a 15amp load. Which is near its limit but has about 2 amps of headroom. It does make a quiet humming with the 15 amp load but is much quieter than fans. It makes a little heat but it runs 16hrs straight without any issue. And most importantly it has all the necessary safety ratings.

These are great power supplies
Like most mean well power supplies, this was stable, ran nice and cool, and had very low ripple for a switching type power supply. I use these in everything.

DOA
Never worked. Bought for a project that got delayed so it's outside the return window. When I tested it never turned on, no green light or anything. I would give the seller negative stars if I could.

Silent power supply
**update 4-20-20* it's now been 6 years and this PSU is still going strong! I've never had a single issue with it and no fan is the best part because it operates silently. I had originally purchased a cheaper Chinese supply which had a fan that would ramp up and down depending on load...very annoying. Since this is being used to power led strips in my bedroom noise is a huge consideration for me. I've heard good things about the Mean Well name but thought I was out of luck finding a fanless PSU with 200w until I saw this one. I'm currently running about 12m of 5050 RGBW tape with it and it barely even gets warm, also it is absolutely silent...it doesn't even buzz or whine or anything like some cheaper switching power supplies tend to. It's also nice that it's in the thinner form factor, that wasn't important for my application it'll make putting it in a case easier...which brings me to my only negative: Since it is designed to be mounted in some sort of enclosure the screw terminals are rather exposed and could pose a shock hazard if you were to just leave it bare. Putting it in a case isn't that big of deal...but I am having trouble finding one that doesn't cost three times what the supply cost me. I guess I'll just have to get creative.

Works like a charm
Exactly as advertised, was worried about packaging from past experience but it turns out the thick steel they used worked as intended. Definitely would buy again if needed!

Use this only for outdoor lighting
The output of this supply is very noisy. The supply I have here measures a 4volt P-P (yep, 14v to 10v swing on the peak-to_peak) 20us pulse spike appear on the output. At that frequency (pulse width) it does punch noise thru successive supplies. In my case, 12v -> 5v -> 1.8v and it is very noisy, with a 500mv, 20us pulse on the 1.8v supply output! So my 1.8v supply drops to 1.3v! YIKES. Use this model only for outdoor lighting. P.S. I bought 2 of these, both are noisy. :(
