SystemBuild Evolution Farmington 31.5" Wide Storage Cabinet - Rustic Gray

I needed a pantry cabinet for my laundry room, and didn't want to spend a ton of money on a solid wood piece of furniture, if I could even find one to fit the space. This one fits and is very roomy.It came without any damage, unpacked easily, and every piece of hardware was labeled and none missing. The instructions are amazing - in English!! (and other languages in the back pages). You cannot go wrong with the detailed and methodical way the directions are organized. This is not high end but it is very functional - everything assembled properly and works fine. The instructions tell you how much weight each shelf can bear, so you won't overload.

This is a beautiful cabinet. The only issue I have is the folding back panel is very thin and flimsy and was cracked on both sides but very well could have been damaged during shipping. I needed a pantry and this works wonderfully with lots of room for everything. It was also very easy to assemble. Everything is labeled with good instructions. It took my husband about an hour to put together

I paid $154 which is a very reasonable price for what you get. It is cheap, the pieces are flimsy, and some of the screws were missing. The holes for the cam locks were drilled too deep so I had to use some glue to hold them in place. All that considered, it was really easy to put together. The instructions were very easy to follow. It arrived quickly. The box was damaged, but everything inside was fine. It was packed well. Once it was assembled it is fairly sturdy and heavy. Each shelf has a max capacity of about 25-30lbs. I'll be using it for towels and cleaning products. It does look fantastic in my laundry/bathroom.

Easy assembly, very sturdy, looks great.

To start, I have built a TON of this furniture over the years for myself, and everyone else I get stuck doing it for, as apparently I can't say no. I call it "Disposable" furniture as it never moves well and sometimes not even just inside your own home without falling apart.This product has nice appearance except for some improperly measured parts which I will get to. I have provided photos of each issue where possible.First, upon pulling hardware out of the bag, it appeared screws had been used before and clearly had wood in the threads. No idea what that's about. In photos, you can see.The locking cams are by far the cheapest and thinest ones I have seen. Two actually cracked barely tightening them by hand. They strip with next to no force so be careful. The holes were drilled too deep, or cams are too small, and sit too far in holes which is not normal.The hinges are decent for the light doors, but the center hinge is completely unadjustable since they placed is exactly in the center of the non adjustable shelf. Poor design. Shown in photo.The front right frame of cabinet is literally made too short which leaves a half inch gap at the top that's visible with no way too fix.They one that's really gets me, is it LITERALLY says in bold that the back is a structural part of the cabinet and must be installed correctly, yet they drilled every hole too big for the screws!!! Was it a Monday???If you keep this, I recommend using a few of their holes only as a guide for placement, then put each screw next to each hole making a new and secure connection to cabinet. It will not be stable without doing this.My cabinet did not come with the screws for the handles. Upon trying to use their "request parts" section online as described in manual, they ask you for numbers not even on the manual. This number isn't on the cabinet either so we will see how this turns out.Based on the quality, this product should be WAY cheaper. Just know if you buy this, it's on the low end of quality for hardware, design and manufacturing. I would not recommend this to anyone.

It was time consuming to put together by myself it took me about hour. It is so pretty in person and holds alot of stuff. I am so glad i bought it.

The cabinet took my son nearly 2 hours and a bit of cursing to assemble. Piece of advice - add the hinges to the doors first, not the cabinet as instructed. It's hard to get the leverage to attach the hinges to the doors properly when they are already attached to the cabinet. The cabinet is not level. There is a 1" gap from the wall at the bottom and nearly a 3" gap from the wall at the top and it rocks a bit. The instructions were followed exactly. One of the doors is warped so it won't 'close' completely at the bottom. It was an inexpensive cabinet so it's not going to be great. It is very pretty though.
