I love this trash can. I have tried several different kind of automated trash cans over a period of time, this one is my favourite by far. I like the low profile that it opens and the stylish look as well. The customer service is the best as well. Had a small problem with the purchase and it was rectified immediately, by the company. This is my second can I have a white and a stainless one and plan on being a customer in the future.

love the can eveything is almost perfect. 4 stars because the trash is hard to pull out it has no way to release the air so its hard to pull out.

I have white kitchen cabinets with black knobs. This garbage can in white with a black lid is perfect! It's nice looking with a sleek and functional butterfly lid. I had my doubts about the battery life, but I have had the same batteries in for two months now (opening and closing tons of times a day) and they're still going strong! I also love how you don't see the garbage bag hanging over the side of the can. Here's the trick to putting the bag in: 1) Take the black plastic oblong piece that is inside at the top of the can out and set it aside. 2) Put a garbage bag in (I use 13 gallon) and leave about 3 inches over the top side of the can (it's going to be tight, but don't worry) 3) Put the black plastic oblong piece back onto the top of the can 4) Take the 3 inches of garbage bag and pull it back down over the black plastic piece and into the inside of the can. Maybe it's a little more work putting a bag in compared to a regular can, but it is sleek, neat and awesome! You'll love it if you like a clean look.

Great looking trash can. So convenient to keep out instead of going in and out of the closet under the sink. So quiet and works easily to dispose of trash. Instructions were not clear. One said 6 BATTERIES and then another says 3 BATTERIES and mine worked on 2 AA BATTERIES. I DO LIKE IT THOUGH

Had can for 3 weeks and it won't open or close anymore. Broke the day before return for amazon was allowable. Now I can't return it. Contacted the company site 4 times since it's suppose to have a 1 year warranty and have heard nothing. Zero stars I have a $140.00 piece of garbage.

The novelty of the self-opening feature wears off very quickly and I soon became annoyed at how often it was not working right. To be fair, it does work MOST of the time. But I'm annoyed enough to give it only 3 stars. The times that it doesn't function properly (opens when you walk by or doesn't open when you need it to) make me wish I would have just bought one with a foot pedal instead. The timing doesn't always work for every job either. I've had it close on my hands (doesn't hurt, again just annoying) when I take too long. And again, to be fair, it does have a button to push if you need it open for a long time, but sometimes when you're scraping a plate off (as an example), it takes longer than you think it will.

It does every thing advertised. Love it.
