Excellent Quality and Consistency over 10 packs and Did the Job as Expected
My square dance club had very economical access to a 40ft by 25ft dry-walled space with concrete floor we wanted to use for square dancing. There was nothing soft in the room to absorb sound. In square dancing a leader directs us what to do over PA system while music plays in background. The room echoed so badly before we put up the foam we could not reliably hear the directions announced. It was awful. We could not use the space for our dances. We bought 10 packs of his foam and mounted it around the room as shown in the photos and now the room is perfect - no objectionable echoes at all. Just as good as any of dozens of other venue we have danced in. So the foam did its job. As for quality, this stuff was 100% consistent and perfect. Not a single square from all 10 of our packs had any defect we noticed. I expanded them by cutting the plastic wrapper off, separating the individual squares by hand (very easy - take only 2 seconds per square) and put them into a tube of cold water. I let them sit in there about 5 minutes while poking them with my hand every half minute or so to get water around all the pieces. I did a whole pack at a time in the tub. After 5 minutes or so most were expanded fully. A few corners need to be squeezed by hand a few times to get them to suck up more water and expand fully. In the end all the pyramids came up on EVERY SINGLE square. Then I took them out one at a time and folded in half and in half and in half and wrung them out over the tub. I did not have to be particularly gentle with them - they seem tough; I didn't damage any of them doing this, they all dried to perfect shape. Then I laid them out on my driveway in the sun to dry - took about an hour in bright sun, turning once. We glued (using construction adhesive tubes - a bead around edges an inch in from the edge) the foam on 1/2" Styrofoam insulation panels 2ft x 8ft and then mounted those panels on the drywall with 2-in finishing nails - the panels are very light. I was impressed that these foam squares were perfectly square and consistent in size. I would definitely buy this brand again. I had no issues that people mention about other brands in the comments for those brands. These were perfect in every way I observed.

Very useful
I love it

Okay for the price
They’re okay. They do need 48 hrs to fluff back up from packaging. Some parts did not settle right, but the majority of them ended up okay.

They absorb sound and look great!
I can tell that these do absorb some sound in my studio, although I do not have all of my wall surfaces completely covered. They do help. I think they also look great (see picture). I use 3M Command strips to hang them (just one each) and that works great.

The Soaking takes awhile
The process of installing these panels includes soaking them in water (I used my bathtub) for three mins then squeezing all the water out and leaving them to dry. Something I did not realize was part of the project. My son plays a tons of instruments so upon moving we finally decided it was foam time. We ordered four so we could cover a wall and then some.Pros: I love that my 12 year old can do each of these steps. There’s nothing he can really mess up from soaking to ringing to installing and it’s helping him take ownership of his room and this project. It’s cheaper than other sound panels and while it’s not fancy once you go through the process they fluff up and look good.As for sound quality I don’t want to say yet because we’re not done but when he yells from his room I can’t hear him.Cons:Do we really need to soak these things? It takes a long time and to soak and ring out all these panels is such a pain. Luckily we just moved into a place so I held off putting things in cabinets to use that for a drying zone. My entire house has been covered in this foam. Now I assume most people don’t need the quantity of foam that I got but just think of where you’ll dry however many panels you are getting. Here’s my real problem, while I know these are not an expensive luxury foam I’d really like after all the soaking and timing and ringing out and drying that the panels fluff up completely. This is not the case. I have 7 panels that have one row that will not fluff up and two with two rows that will not fluff up (even after double soaking). This is just too many, needs better quality control. I can’t use these without them looking off. I could hide them behind a canvas or something but that’s not what I bought these for.I don’t know how to get ahold of the manufacturer to see if I could get these low quality panels replaced. If so I’d give five stars with a rinsing is annoying warning.

Foam panels are perfect the sticky tabs don’t work
The product is perfect for sound proofing but the sticky tabs held the sound proof up for maybe a day. You will have to buy Adhesive 3M

I don’t ever do reviews…but this company 😵💫
Out of 24, I had about 8 decent panels. Luckily I have a sound shield and pop filter from seedz.com; these were just additional stuff (the 8 or so is enough for the direct path in front of the mic). I would’ve sent back if it didn’t work…do they even allow refunds?

Fixed my echo. Use a Pin Nailer!
Installed with a 23 gauge pin nailer. Worked great and you can’t see the pins. There was an echo in my room that I could hear when I sat on the couch. I installed 36 of the hexagon panels at head height along wall behind the couch. The echo is gone. If you’re not sure if these will help you, try tacking a thick blanket to the wall where you’re thinking of putting the panels. If that helps then these panels should help too. Otherwise you may need something more substantial.

As expected
Does the job as expected. They are not very thick so I would recommend not putting them against the wall directly but against a wood base to trick sound.

Great room acoustics
I love that these have a great heavy duty stick on the back of these panels. I also love the hexagonal shape so you can make any pattern you like.
