My 4 year old was obsessed with her cheapy frozen walkie talkies from b&m but obviously they're rubbish.We go camping and I thought a set of walkies would be fun and practical if half decent and I wanted to be able to add to them if more family comes.Well we have a fourth now but obviously too young at the moment but I got the four pack for when the time comes.I had these in my basket for a looong time after reading lots of reviews for ones around this price range. I was just worried about spending that much. They finally came on a lightning deal so I snapped them up and I'm so glad I did. Definitely worth the money.The designs appeal to the kids (and big kids), and they're a nice small size for smaller hands.I was wondering if the buttons would be too complicated or tricky for her but not the case. It's so simple to use and the rechargeable feature is great.They're so clear and my partner took them up the road to walk the dog and we could hear him the whole time while we were inside.Time will tell but they seem fairly robust and well made.We are super happy with them.

I don't know how we managed to lose half of our previous walkie talkie set but it meant buying a new set in a rush for the weekend. This is a better set though! I think most of the sets on Amazon state fairly similar specs but these seen to just be better quality than the brand we purchased last.They have a really nice shape in the hand and are compact and light. We like the army combat design and colours, it means they're suitable for my husband's fishing trips where the fishermen seem to spread out a long way apart from each other.The display is good. Range seems to be superb, even in dense woodland. It's less good over long distance with buildings in the way, but that's as expected for this kind of set.The 1200mAh batteries have lasted well with charge left after a weekends use.22 channels, pretty standard, does what it needs to for finding a clear channel when needs be.All very easy to operate too, although my four year old would disagree as she still hasn't quite grasped pressing in the button before speaking. But this is where the voice activated/hands free feature helped out! It was nice not to hear her speak without it being chopped in half, it was really convenient to use.I've included a photograph trying to show the compact size of these little walkie talkies which made them so easy to tuck into pockets as we walked. That's a standard length ballpoint pen it's photographed next to, you can see how small these chaps are.The box is a nice compact size; hopefully I won't lose half of this set if I keep mine boxed this time.

Upon arrival one of the walkie talkies displays were faulty, so I emailed customer services & within a few days Anna had sorted it all out for us & I had another one in the post!These are nice & lightweight, easy to use & my child likes them very much! :)

Really sturdy and ideal for my grandson's 9th birthday

Got for my little niece and nephew. In Phuket resort where we stayed, these ones were the most useful items of communication, as we opt not to get Thai phone SIM cards. We managed to find each other with no problem in quiet a distance within resort. Little kids took charge of it and really enjoyed it. It is rechargeable easy to set up. Worth every penny.

Love these. Work great. Excellent battery and perfect for small hands. However, the instructions for activating vox are incorrect. I managed to figure it out myself after support told me to hold them further apart…. I had mentioned I was testing them one by one and together spaced apart already.Anyway, you need to activate vox via the channel selection, select channel, select code if needed, then select again to activate vox.Wanted to use as baby monitor when away, so these are perfect.Batteries last well too!

Battery life seems ok but might just be that I didn’t give them quite a long enough first charge. We’ve only had them a few weeks but the girls have had fun playing with them long range at the park and inside and outside the house and the sound quality is v good.

I've now bought 2 sets of these - one for my kids and one for my niece and nephew. They are remarkably solid and don't feel like toys at all though they are small enough for little hands. Their range is excellent, battery life is very good and they are pretty nice to hold. The menus are fairly complex, so I would advise using the lock function before handing them over to younger users. I would advise using the optional encoding function, as when it is switched off in an urban area we found quite a bit of crosstalk from other nearby radio users, which can be a bit unnerving. I did have an issue with the second set, in which a 22 channel handset and 8 channel handset had been mistakenly bundled and couldn't communicate. However customer service (Anna) were exception and arranged to send me a replacement handset that works perfectly. Thanks!

Die Walkie-Talkies sind ein Muss für Kinder. Sie haben eine klare Sprachfunktionen mit einstellbarer Lautstärke. Die Geräte nehmen die Stimme präzise auf. Gut finde ich den eingebauten Akku- kein lästiges Batteriewechseln. Der Akku hält wohl auch einige Stunden durch. Die Haptik der Geräte ist gut; machen insgesamt einen wertigen Eindruck. Sie müssten auch den ein oder anderen Sturz überleben.Die Bedienung war intuitiv; eine Beschreibung liegt allerdings auch bei. Viel falsch kann man wirklich nicht machen. Die Grösse der Geräte ist für Kinderhände passend. Wie hoch die Reichweite der Geräte ist lässt sich nicht sagen; meine Tochter (3Jahre) ist bei mir immer Blickfeld. Ich gehe allerdings davon aus, dass die Angaben des Herstellers richtig sind. Der Preis ist fair- Kaufempfehlung von mir.

De aanleiding van het aanschaffen van deze walkietalkie was de grote afstand die we kunnen overbruggen. 3km gaf de beschrijving aan. Niks is minder waar. Het zijn leuke walkietalkies maar bij 300 meter begint hij al te ruizen en na 350 meter is er geen communicatie meer mogelijk. Bijzonder teleurstellend. Ik woon in een bosrijke omgeving maar dat mag toch niet zo’n verschil maken.
