Lakeland Extendable Cob Web Duster

I have had this cobweb duster languishing in my basket for about a year. I finally got so fed up with trying to remove pesky cobwebs with a hoover attachment. The brush one on my hoover is absolutely useless and leaves scrape marks on my walls and ceilings. I decided to buy this cobweb duster on the strength of the good reviews and the fact that it is made of natural fibres. I used it the second it was out of the box, and OH MY GOODNESS!!! Using it is a joy and because of the dusters shape, it can get right in to the corners and the top of doors with ease. It removes absolutely every cobweb, even those tiny little ones that seem to be so elusive. My ceiling in my sitting room is now completely free of cobwebs. This duster also does not damage or scrape and delicate coving or wall coverings. It is very gentle but thoroughly effective in its intended purpose. I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to buy it! I extends very easily and it is extremely robust. I can imagine it lasting for years and years. Cleaning is a doddle. You just have to give it a good shake outside and then pick any stubborn bits out with your fingers. I don’t think I will need to wash it as the fibres come back to shape very easily. I will be going around the rest of my house again just before Christmas day, not only to make sure I got all the cobwebs, but actually because it is so satisfying just using it! Love it! Every home should have one! Delivery was so fast and it was packaged very well. Will DEFINITELY buy again if I ever need to. Thank you Lakeland and Amazon!!!

Excellent duster, well worth the money, typical Lakeland quality which I always find first class. My only complaint is the packaging, the brush was wrapped in cellophane as one would expect however it was secured to the handle by some kind of horrible sticky tape that left a gooey mess all over the handle and was an absolute nightmare to remove and it could not just be left because it is obviously going to be used to remove dust which would stick to the handle. Took me about half an hour of gentle scrubbing but it eventually came off, had it not it would have completely spoilt the product

I have issues with spiders, but they seem to like my house. After waking up my poor husband three nights in a row because I saw a tiny spider in the hall or bathroom, I decided to get something that can help me keep the corners of our high ceilings cobweb free so the spiders feel less welcome. I first looked at the plastic fluffy ones but the reviews were poor and someone pointed out how it's hard to get corners with these. One of the comments suggested this one. I read the reviews and went for it. The price seems a little bit high at first, but it's well worth it. It is extremely sturdy even fully extended. You get all the corners. And if you have textured ceilings like we do in our living room, you even get those clean of the silly hangers!TL;DR If you hate spiders and cobwebs, have high ceilings and/or want to get corners clean, this duster is good value for money.

It’s very long and I can reach to clean skylight now. Also fluffy but didn’t mould like some others I have used. I didn’t like the smell as it is lambs wool it does stink but hoping that will go off I sprayed with air freshener.

Very easy to use.

Good reach, sturdy pole. Gets to all corners of our high ceilings that I previously just couldn't reach. Soft hair that clings well to cobwebs. The only downside of this duster is that it does constantly lose a bit of hair. I've tried shaking it out outside, hoping that would reduce the shedding, but that didn't really help. Still, better a few soft hairs than packs of cobwebs. This was the tallest pole I could find and it does do the job, so am happy with the purchase.
