I love this kit! It is fun and it’s very relaxing to do! It’s not complicated, at all. I especially love the sea creatures theme! The finished product is beautiful! Very much worth the money!

This was a fun activity for our ladies group… we created something pretty and useful while chatting away. I also purchased the sealant to preserve the coaster .Fun project.

I have done quite a few diamond art paintings, so I'm very familiar with the products and techniques. These coasters differ slightly from the artwork in several very important ways.The diamonds - these are clear diamonds with a painted on base to provide the color. This makes the diamond very sparkly, but the downfall is the backing scratches off easily, so many of them don't have full color. This wouldn't be too much of an issue, however, unlike most diamond art kits, there aren't necessarily a lot of additional diamonds to complete the project (see pic of remaining diamonds after all coasters are completed...some colors have less than 10 remaining!)The canvas - the coasters are a firm, translucent plastic and the printing on them is very clear...it is easy to identify which color goes where, unlike many paintings. However, the colors are NOT placed directly next to each other...meaning there are gaps between diamonds...sometimes fairly large gaps! This means that the surface of the completed coasters have some sticky sections that will no doubt collect dirt and dust with use. They will need to be sealed with something to prevent this from happenig....I'm just not sure what (Modge Podge may not be durable enough for coasters use).Also, because the coasters are small, the pictures are not very detailed or clear. They are definitely very sparkly, just not very detailed.Each coasters takes about 1-1.5 hrs to complete...making it an easy project to start and stop as you have time.Overall, they are a fun project to complete, with a few drawbacks, as mentioned.

I purchased these for my mom to do a little project. She said they are labor intensive but worth it. They turned out so great and are really nice quality. She’s getting ready to start another set. Recommend!!

Great kit. Easy to follow directions. Came with cork bottoms that already had glue. Just peel paper off and stick cork rounds to bottom. Holder also included. Would recommend. I sealed with clear Elmer’s glue.

Fun craft to do. Doesn’t wash well and isn’t the best to use as an actual coaster but for a craft it is a great time passer. They are adorable but the gems are very tiny and the numbers and letters are small and can be hard to easily read.
