No fuss, bargain 4K TV
I was sceptical about a 43" TV for around £200. However, with good reviews and Amazon's free returns policy, I thought I'd give it a go. I've been very impressed overall given the price point.Pros:- Easy to attach stand and set up, even for one person- Good, clear picture with Dolby Vision. Lots of settings to play around with to refine the picture.- I haven't delved too far into the VIDAA operating system as I use a Firestick but it seems fine.- I have also used a soundbar from day one, but a quick test suggests the TV built-in sound is passable.- Freeview works fine and you have the option to record shows on a memory stick. (I was considering a Fire TV but there were a few negative reviews about watching live TV via Freeview, such as slow channel changes etc)Cons:- There is noticeable motion blurring if anything on the screen is racing about, but I think this is a reasonable compromise for the price- Dialogue and picture sometimes go slightly out of sync and I can't find a way to fix it. I think this is an issue with the Firestick/soundbar/TV connection which is managed by the TV. However, it isn't so pronounced as to be unbearable.- The TV seems keen to gather data on your viewing habits (as do most smart TVs). Search online about how to turn this off, if it concerns you.Overall this is a no-fuss, budget TV that works well.

So Good I Got Another
Having been the kind of person who always buys from major brands when it comes to electronics, I have been blown away by this TV. First, let me tell you what happened...I had an LG 42 inch 4K HDR TV in my bedroom. However, like many Brits I love my dog and it takes advantage of me. Therefore, we play every morning on my bed. One day she got too excited and her strong tail whacked the TV causing irreperable damage. Nightmare. Here I was thinking it was going to cost a fortune to replace a higher tier big brand TV. However, I remembered how good the image quality was on the Hisense I got for my dad. So I checked for a few on here and decided on this since funds are low at the moment. It arrived and I set it up in the bedroom as expected. Straight away, even the packaging is impressive. The box is very strong and the wrapping perfectly protects the TV. Then I had to configure it when I switched it on which is always my most irritating feature. How wrong I was. Configuration is a breeze, and the built-in Vidaa OS is fast and responsive. You can skip the config entirely if you want, which is even quicker. If you don't need smart TV features, (which I don't since I have Sky), your TV is ready in no time. I suspect if this was a Samsung or Sony I would have had to provide tons of personal data and be at it for 45 minutes. Then came the settings. I'm one of those people who actually enjoys playing with settings, finding the best colour, brightness and contrast etc. However, I can honestly say that this is the first time ever that I haven't had to change anything. Really, it is perfect right out of the box! I've never seen that before.Suffice it to say, I was so impressed with this TV that I got rid of my 32 inch LG 4K monitor that I use for work and gaming, and replaced it with one of these. The HDR is incredible for gaming and looks excellent on Xbox and PS5. However, it looks awful on Windows 11 but that's because, well, Windows 11! Yet you can just turn HDR off on Windows and the image looks incredibe. On Dot to Dot aspect ratio it is better than my old monitor and doesn't even hurt my eyes. However, I have ordered a keyboard desk extender to sit back a little further for comfort.I can't recommend this TV enough and it is incredible value for money. Please don't overlook it becuse it isn't a massive brand. Hisense TVs are now excellent quality and have come a long way in recent years.

Excellent television for the money, remote is a bit clunky though :/
Overall I'm very happy with this television, it has a brilliant picture, and having come from a well regarded LG set, it's on par with that. The OS is decent, I particularly like that there is an "Apps Only" option in Account Settings; it helps tidy up the home screen, leaving only minimal intrusive background imagery with no clutter. I was also very impressed with how light this TV is, it's literally half the weight of my LG and the build quality seems just fine, it doesn't look cheaply made or shoddily finished. Very smart looking. As far as apps go, I only really use Plex, YouTube and Prime so can't comment on live TV services etc.Minor irritations:-The remote is a little clunky (having come from an Amazon Fire TV Cube and its almost perfectly-designed remote) and the OS can be a little sluggish, especially when changing volume (there's a slight delayed reaction) but again that's only a minor complaint given that this isn't something that needs doing every five seconds - we generally set it at a level and leave it for a while. Also, with Plex, a number of movie files play choppily (I'm unsure why this is, but I'm making a list of the affected files to see what they have in common, and will report back here my findings... IF I can identify the source of the problem). All is well with Amazon Prime and YouTube though, which operate flawlessly.Overall I couldn't be happier with the set, I've found it to be exceptional value for the price paid. Highly recommended!

Great brand
Fantastic price compared with more well known brands. Purchased a previous smaller Hisense tv and was very happy so when I saw this on offer I decided to buy a larger one. Very well packaged and easy to setup, would rate against any of the more expensive brands, great picture, decent sound

Great TV for a great price
I bought this TV (50inch version) in September 2024 and as of April 2025 I have no complaints whatsoever. It works perfectly, has access to a huge selection of apps and the picture quality is very good.Great priced TV
