I searched for quite a while to find a flat extension cord for under a large area rug. I have a table in the middle of a room that needed a lamp. After several tries with other products, I finally found this one that works perfectly. It’s long enough to reach the middle of an 18’ foot room… that was the biggest shortcoming of the other ones I tried. A bonus feature is that it in addition to the plug-ins…it includes two USB ports for charging your devices.

Excellent Cord & Plug-Strip Combo. Very thin, black cord fits nicely under carpet & pad for island desk location on carpet/rug w/ anti-skid padding. (taped it flat to hardwood floor to keep it flat and un-twisted) Looks well made and exactly as advertised! GREAT!! The USB phone charging outlets are a bonus and super useful. Only thing that would have made it better was one-more plug outlet on plug-strip. Packaged well inside a heavy "sealed" plastic bag. (so we knew it was NOT previously opened and used) Very happy and pleased! THANKS!

This is the second time I've been so pleased with a product that I wished I could give six stars. The first was a combo-pack of 18650 batteries, flashlight, & charger. This power strip is the same caliber. There's not a thing to complain about the power strip itself. The flat 45º plug, long and very flat cord to fit under a rug gets five stars. Now add (1) that the package comes with velcro strips to tie the cord to desk legs, etc, (2) the right-sized screws to mount the power strip to your desk, and (3), unbelievably, a sticky-back screw template to take the guess work out of measuring where to put the screws.

With a little effort I was able to get the cord to lay flat under the rug. I was hoping it would be a little thinner but the bump is hardly noticeable.

thsi works, but I was hoping it would be flatter. its under a rug to reach behind our sofa for our lamp and laptop chargers. the rug is covering our LVP flooring, so not hardwood but still a flat semi hard surface and you can clearly see the cord going under the sofa. its not really a tripping hazard (well hasnt been so far..)Overall, it does its job well enough to not return it, but the pictures in the listing made it look much slimmer (if that makes sense)
