This is an incredibly bright torch, switch on default setting 'floodlight' and it's very appropriate. It's extremely bright and covers a large area. Press again and it's slightly dimmer, again for less. These are for battery saving if you really don't need to turn night into day. Press again for a fast strobe which is a bit odd and then the last press will flash SOS in morse code. At anytime in any of the settings, press & hold for about 3 seconds to turn off. Battery life is ok but expect it to run down quicker in full mode, you may only get about an hour out of it, I haven't left it on long enough to determine the full capacity, so depending on your needs it may be better to use one of the dimmer modes. Some reviews have complained of the tip getting hot, it does have a hot caution on the end, some have said this is immediate but I've run it on high mode for 5-10 minutes and it didn't even feel warm. It comes with a AA insert for emergencies but I expect this will drain those in minutes. For the price point this is incredible but understand your expectations for what you need it for to avoid disappointment, if you want to go up a mountain for 3 hours then look for something less powerful with longer battery life.

Having had a decent number of Torches. I can quite happily say this, on balance, is about the best one ever, so far, of them all.The light output from the XHP70.2 LED Chip is amazing, and so bright it absolutely lights the way up ahead so well. Its quite stunning.The Zoom Function, it has the 4 square`s look when zoomed right out or in if you like, and wow it goes a fair way. and really lights things up in the distance.Even middle brightness, and on low, its still really good.I`ve had other Torches with the same Led Chip, but this one seems just a bit better, and brighter.Also it has a slightly warmer, a little bit less white look than some XHP70.2 and XHP 90.2`s and it is much more pleasing to the eye. Well to mine.Its a light, fairly small, and handy sized torch, and it sits very nicely, and comfortably, in the hand.All the controls seem very reliable, and the percentage counter on the Battery side of things is really handy.On Full, the amazing Blast of Light, you are looking at getting just over 1 and a 1/2 hours. For the performance level, I think that`s great.And on the lower 2 setting`s, which are also really good, and you will likely mainly use, its very much longer run time wise.And of course when you get in, just plug it in to recharge, and once again ready to go.It really is such a nice little torch, and for its size, its performance, is stunning, and it never seems to get too warm either.Its comes in a nice little case, and the overall finish and quality of the metal and paint is really good.I`m just a real customer, I just bought one on a browse !!! but I honestly can`t recommend these enough.Superb, and very Useful, Torch.

Robust construction, easy to handle and excellent light output for such a smallish torch. Charge lasts a fairly long time on lower settings (six hours) and recharges in three hours approximatelyVery pleased and would recommend

This torch is absolutely awesome! It comes in its own padded plastic carry case with everything included, apart from a charger, but most people have access to multiple chargers, so not a problem. The included 26650 battery was 50% charged as it arrived, so didn't take long to fully charge. On first use I was amazed how powerful it is! It's very well made from aluminium and feels reassuringly solid. The only reason I haven't given it five stars is the power button. You switch on and it goes to full power, click again to medium power, again to low, again to strobe, again to SOS and again to switch off. You have to go through this procedure each time. It would be much better if it had a separate mode select and on/off switch to avoid multiple key presses. But this is really a minor gripe for the money. The battery life is good for me, I don't use it for extended periods and, so far, I haven't had to recharge it. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Why spend more? As far as I'm concerned, this does it all.

If you need a bright light, this is the one. You can adjust from a narrow beam to a wide beam. As I use this for work as well as at home the usb charging is really convenient as I can charge in the car when out. A little expensive but worth every penny in my book.

Useless tiorch battery doesn't last. and replacements are very expensive and don’t last. Works for about 15 mins then pack up.

Not 3000 Lumens but this was obvious before I bought it from reading other reviews and the fact that sellers on Amazon make Lumens up all the time, sure most of them don't know what it is lol.But that said it is better the I was expecting and a little brighter than my old one which is 1200 (Amazon) Lumens. The built in USB-C for charging makes it so much easier to charge the my old one, having to find the charger then pulling it a part to get to the battery, then putting it back together.I have recommended this to my friends and two have bought them and they are happy too.
