A: Yes! It is very simple to remove the case. I take it off fairly often to charge with my Apple Watch charger. No tool necessary, just open the lid, hold onto the AirPods charging case  and pull lightly.

**Q: Is the chime function come with the case?**
A: The chime is built in to the Airpod charging base. The case facilitates ability to hear the sound.

**Q: What do you guys think of the lazy? Being plastic, I'm worried about it wearing down with repeated use.**
A: Mitch, i have had this piece now for around 3 months and use it all day every day for work.  the latch is holding up great. then you close it, there is a bit of tension on the waterproof seal that keeps the latch tight.

After trying out several cases, I got the KeyBudz for AirPods Pro Case with Lock, it's totally been the case that I'll be using for my my AirPods Pro from now on The Secure Locking System is a game-changer. It gives me confidence that my AirPods Pro case won't accidentally open and expose my precious earbuds to potential harm even when I have them clipped to my waistband while running. I would never risk taking my Airpods case out on a run without the security of knowing the case is secure and locked shut. The KeyBudz case is super durable and you can tell that your Airpods are safe from the elements and accidental falls. It's like having a rugged waterproof fortress for my beloved earbuds. On top of everything else, the convenient carabiner clip is a godsend for travel, exercise or anything that keeps you on the move. Made from anodized aluminum, it's sturdy and attaches easily to my backpack or belt loop, ensuring quick and secure access to my AirPods.
