10 out of 10... It's not often I rare a product so highly!
Absolutely fabulous substrate for your tanks! I love this product so much I've ordered more. It's easy to keep clean, light ,fluffy, and a dream for a planted aquarium. I've found that if you rake the substrate every other day it helps in keeping your aquarium aerated and free of the nasties that result in our fish becoming sick and in bad condition. The only real advice id give everyone is to thoroughly rinse the substrate before you put it into your tank or you run the risk of really cloudy water as there is a little sand running through it, this doesn't take very long to do the end result is beautifully clean and clear water, resulting in happy fish and happy aquarists.keep smiling blessings to one and all. Good value for money
Great aggregate - very light granules and good range of cream to grey colour. Bought to add as dressing for succulents to keep their leaves clear of any water but would be useful for adding to compost to create sharper drainage. Worth the money - large bag which is far better deal than those sold in garden centres.

Good but comes half full
Good product, used it to cover my plants to avoid fungus gnats. I have almost 30 plants and used it to cover 23 of them (that’s all I needed covered) and it was enough to cover all of them. However the bag did come half full. I was expecting it to be like the picture; at least almost filled to the top, but no. It done the job but the amount that was given was disappointing.

Got this for my succulents and tropical plants.I noticed A lot of reviews saying they washed the gravel before using.Don't!, you'll wash off most of the nutrients.It looks better than I th out it would and was smaller than I thought it was, which is a good thing ( aesthletically pleasing)Plus you get a pretty big bag too for the price. Can't complain.

Great substrate for planted aquariums
Bought 4 bags for my 120L aquarium. This product has worked really well in my planted aquarium, all my plants seem to like it as it has promoted root growth for the plants to become more established. It also hasn't had any effect on the water chemistry for the fish in the last few months I've used it. I prefer this over a similar product called tetra active substrate, which was a mess to deal with. This substrate has a more natural rocky look to it and doesn't float about. Overall, will be buying again for my other planted aquariums.

Does what it says on the bag.
Great product, ideal for plant pot gravel. Keeps the pot sterdy, holds just the right amount of water to keep plant moist for one week. Best indoor plant gravel I have ever purchased. Will purchASE AGAIN WHEN NEEDED.
