you need to make the type-c cable modular so that it can be removed because this is not the move. making a flush mounted adapter is pointless when the cable is attached to it at all times because the reason you want a flush mount is to be able to close your ashtray when the device is in there. but you cabnt do that if the cord is stuck in it.otherwise my complaint, this thing charges very fast and works good. hasnt failed me yet in 6 months of abuse.

Very fast charger

I'm not somebody who normally charges my phone in the car, but I do like to have one of these charging ports just in case. It has a nice low profile design, and doesn't look too disorganized when plugged in to my cigarette lighter on my Lexus. The USB C cord that extends from it is pretty long, and you certainly have enough slack to plug your phone in and place it in a cup holder, or something like that. I used it to charge my Google pixel 3, and it did a good job of fast charging it, as promised. When you plug it in, it glows blue, so you know that there is power. Besides the long cord, it's a rather unassuming little item, that I like to keep in my armrest compartment, when not in use. There is a second USB input, so you can charge two separate items at the same time, provided you brought your charging cord with you for whatever device you are hoping to charge. All in all, I have zero complaints about it whatsoever, and have made good use of it already. I think it's a valuable little accessory to carry in the glove box, and have on hand, for those emergency recharge opportunities. I think some people complained about the cord being attached to the cigarette lighter plug, but for me that was something I was aware of, and a main reason for why I ordered it. That way, I don't have to worry about not having my cord with me, and always have one on hand in the car. I think it's well designed, and I would recommend it.

Works well

Works well with my old truck. Now I can close the ashtray when charging my phone.

It is not a USBC cable. The cable is a lightening cable for Apple products. There is a USBC port but the cable is not USBC.

No more problems if I forgot to charge my phone at home. Charges super-fast.

The length of the power cord was the right length and it seems to be durable.
