Lord of the Dance ..Dangerous Games
Michael Flatley Lord of the dance Dangerous Games ...This is the most recent DVD of lord of the dance ... a lovely show beautiful dancing lovely scenery , beautiful costumes ... and a gorgeous storyline of good triumphs over bad I wont write too much, I don't want to spoil it for you ...if I could critic this show, id say the singing from Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle I felt aint the best vocal I have heard ... particularly on the last song she sings in the show I thought her vocal range was all over the place, wobbly, but improves towards the end of the song I personally didn't like her outfits I felt they didn't seem to fit in with the show! and I felt that the performance looked like something you would expect in a holiday nightclub in the middle of Lord of the dance so it just looked bizarre ...a really great show that with some organisation, could be even better I think, if you changed around a few of the dances putting the storyline more in order, it would make for a better show ..also if I could give some advice to the lead dancer - The Lord of the Dance I would say just be yourself, don't copy Michael Flatleywhich is how I felt that he appeared, I felt that he had some of the same dance moves as he did I think it would be nice to have originality !This is a really long show , so be prepared to sit through a 2 hour DVD at least ! all in all a really good show great to see Mr Flatley at the end of the show !!!

Wonderful
Excellent. Saw this show last week and it is breathtaking live, bought the DVD to watch until, hopefully, it comes to a venue near me again when I will book immediately as this production is always a sell out. One of the best things I have seen, the DVD is brilliant if you cannot get to see it live.

Fantasic Show
Not had chance to watch this yet as it only arrived yesterday. However, I saw the show live at the Opera House, Manchester on Saturday evening. If the DVD is anything like the show it will be fantastic; well worth buying the DVD even if you haven't seen the show.

Music shredded - the rest was perfection.
I was a huge fan of the 3D/Blu-ray show that was in Dublin. I watch that DVD all the time. I was super excited to see this one although I was wary of the new music but decided to give it the best chance.Backdrop display's - beyond amazing, like nothing I have ever seenThe costumes - So wonderful, I really loved the girls in the white hooded suits with the split legs, very interesting. The dancers - ALL dancers were amazing and I mean amazing. They all put in a gazillion percent.New robot dance routine - Its fine, I thought it was a bit silly but I can get past that, it was new and fun to be honest. The music...........The music killed the entire show for me. I couldn't feel the base, the depth was gone and I couldn't invest on an emotional level. It sounded like they had taken the back harmony tune from the original and just ripped the rest away. I simply couldn't not get into it. It upset me a bit, well no it upset me a lot. Perhaps the Dublin show is different I'm not sure but I don't think it will matter. There was a few original songs that almost saved it such as the lovely two ladies with the fiddles but again it kind of felt rushed. The biggest hit to the stomach was the warrior music. I have never felt so deflated by hearing something. Church organs? Electric guitar? And the new tune didn't have the same intimidation to it. I didn't feel anything and I found myself just closing my eyes, I wanted to turn it off.By the time this dvd was over I was just too upset. I have a strong emotional bond with this show, especially the previous 3D one. If they kept the original soundtrack it would have been perfection but since they tore that away it left an empty shell for me. Everything else was amazing but without the music I couldn't feel the story. Many will love this because it truly is amazing to watch as usual but I am a fussy little bitch when it comes to music so unfortunately this show has lost my vote.I really look forward to the next one and see what they can come up with because the new lead guy is absolutely solid, sharp as a razor and is a true apprentice to flatly. He is so damn skilled and obviously loves to get up there. The crowd didn't seem to warm up to him but they will. It cant be flatly forever and this guy seems to fill his shoes easily. I wish the troupe all the best.

Neuauflage gelungen
Habe inzwischen alle Lord of the dance Shows.
