These are really sharp and comfortable to use. I can't say anything about the longevity, since I haven't owned them for that long, but the build quality seems pretty solid, so I don't expect the hinge to wear out any time soon.

I use these for fly tying works great on wire I use and it saves on expensive scissors.

product ad says it cuts steel wire. it cuts SMALL diameter wire, not horse fencing wire. i'm keeping it.
