I can't DIY one for this money, and I already have a ton of free cable. The ends cost more. That said, these would be 3 star at fair retail pricing (got them on sale). Cons- Molded ends (can't repair),VERY stiff jacketing. If they get a lot of use, they're going to have memory issues. Pros- cheap, do the job. My purpose for these is to have a utility/backup cable for some guitars I seldom amplify. Perfect for this, just keep one in each case and forget about it.
