Extremely useful
This wine thief is great for extracting a sample of kombucha for taste testing. Just dip it into your brew, wait for the level to rise then place your thumb on the top. You can then lift out your sample. Easy. It's well made (glass). I just wish I knew of a way of drying the inside once I've washed it.

Does exactly what I wanted
Perfect for getting homemade wine out of the demijohn to test the SG. No mess or issues, easy to clean if done soon after using, just rinse under tap.

Drips out a little
Even pressing down really hard it still has a slight drip. Works great though, never been caught stealing wine with it yet.

Takes AGES to fill, as the bottom hole is so small. I've taken to using it upside down.
