I can recommend it
It is a genuine product and 6001 and 2097 cartridges fit well. I gave 4 stars because the silicon is very smelly.

COMFORTABLE, SIMPLE AND PROTECTIVE (The best one for me)
MOST COMFORTABLE DESIGN. SOFT SILICONE, with simple features that don't cake up with saw dust in the shop. THIS MASK IS AMAZING, however, many other reviews and the 3M description cover most of that.. COMFORTABLE FIT AND QUICK RELEASE. Soft silicone face mask easily conforms to many shapes of face.. This (LARGE) one is large enough to fit comfortably on my big mug. So too small is no good for me, and the medium didn't work for me. I like masks to ride on top of the bridge of my nose. Remember, it doesn't matter as much how good the customer service is, nor how the shipping and packaging are.. WHAT MATTERS IS.. HOW DOES IT FIT!! Fit and size is all that matters here.. Measure your face and look at these photo measurements, and compare.. MEASUREMENT INSIDE THE (LARGE) MASK: (see pictures) Height: 4 1/2" (inches) Width: 3 1/2" (inches) Great Mask.. at a Great Price on Amazon.. (however after all this comparison, i decided to go with this one rather than the 3M 6503QL because it fit a little better and has less detail on the front of it to catch and trap sawdust.) HOW DOES IT FIT.. Check your measurements. I tried several masks and sent back the ones that didn't fit right. (The third party ones "not" purchased from Amazon, i had to pay for shipping and even one from Amazon i had to pay for return shipping.) So buyer beware, try to get the right fit the first time. Also, buy a size up from the one you think. I tried to show photos with measurements to help. This is the mask i feel the most comfortable in. It's a LARGE, which fits up over the bridge of my nose nice and comfortably. 30 yrs of wearing masks and this is the best one ever.

The large fits much more comfortably on my head which tends to run larger sizes ...
I purchased this on recommendation from a prior poster, either here or on another site. I had owned the Medium version, but upgraded to Large on his recommendation. The large fits much more comfortably on my head which tends to run larger sizes of hats (L/XL hats generally) for comparison (and larger head style sunglasses- eg I wear Oakley Antix and Offshoots with comfort and they don't fit large on my head). Bought it to replace the old AOE brand that 3m bought out and I love the comfort. Extremely glad I went with this upper end version over the Big Orange Box store version. Cheapest place to buy this is Amazon and with Prime it's a great deal. Used in conjunction with the pink vapor filters and I'm unable to smell ANY Bondo vapors when using that, and the pink filters all work great for any wood work or demo you might be doing. PROTECT YOUR LUNGS GUYS!!!!! Lastly- to those who hate these because of heat and condensation build up- this mask works great. I hate those things, and it's why I could never and will never use those cheap white paper masks. They heat up my mouth area and gives me that sweaty yuck feeling. This respirator has extremely good air flow exhaust and directs the air down and out so you don't breathe on your work. You really need to try it to understand that even a small amount of slow exhalation will go out through the vent and not become trapped (as was the issue with the old vent flap on my AOE ventilator which was much too rigid to move without a lot of exhaling force). Give it a whirl, you'll be glad you did.

Nice 'BUT' Needs Design Improvements
I've been wearing the next step down model, the 6000 series I think. So the face to mask contact has always gotten uncomfortable the more or longer I wear it - my nose always hurts. I love the feel of this one!! So much softer and more comfortable that I can't even compare them and won't be going back. My old one will just be for a backup now. I'm 6'1" tall, average thinner build so I got the large. I'm kind of wondering what the med would feel like and will likely buy one just to try it. Although I have wore these and they were very comfortable and worked great. My last one was a med so maybe I'm just not used to it yet. Anyway, my BIG peeve with this one is the nose piece or the exit vent cover - whatever you call it. My old one, when you put it on, you gently flatten your hand over the valve area and you could block the air (without pressing it into your face because that will give you a false reading). When you do that you exhale and you're able to check for a good seal or not. Useful if have sideburns or goatee - like I do. If you didn't you would hear or feel the air escape. This face to filter seal check is VERY important, and required in a professional environment as I often use mine otherwise it's self defeating. This 3M Large Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 7503/37083(AAD) is very difficult at best, to do a seal check. I've managed to awkwardly slip part of hand up under it around the filters to block air, but then it applies pressure to the mask and gives a false seal test and to whether or not to tighten straps. Without back pressure inside the mask, you just don't know if anything is bypassing the filter or not. That's not good, chances are if you're wearing a respirator then you probably don't care to breathe it, right? Also, cleaning is not as easy as the 6000 was series either. The nose piece is all one piece to the mask. It says it's cleanable but that's not in consideration of access or disassembly order to do a good job. It's all up and underneath so rinse it good, but not so good you damage the one way valve ou can barely see. If anything gets in there and blocks the valve inside, it's doubtful you'll be able to get to it except with a gentle luke warm water rinse. I have to say I love this new mask and the design is no fault of the seller - they were great. I just wish 3M hadn't stopped short with the design and owners convenience, where the lower model 60000 series excells. If you could combine the two's best traits you'd have a very good mask. At least make that nose piece removable and problem solved. I'll be modifying mine by cutting the front area out with a dremel tool and reattach it where it can be removed when needed. Like an access flap I guess. It's so comfortable it's worth saving. I like my respirators to be clean and avoid bacterial lung infections or pneumonia because of the problems that can come from a dirty mask, especially if contaminants from your work environment are trapped inside of that to fester. I hear guys say their mask always smells, if it does then you have an issue to address whether it bothers you or not. I got two and rotate them. That way you have a cleaned one to grab when it's time. Nothing's perfect, but this one could be easily improved upon with a solid selling factor if they remedied the design flaw. A pain to clean and pressure check but I love it.
