I lobe this door it's super convenient but be careful when installing it. Make sure you measure and get the heights just right. But all in all the door functions great and it's a real easy set up and programming.

The media could not be loaded.  So my coop was something we bought prefabricated from someone who builds them and the opening for the door was crazy huge! Getting the door size correct was the one thing that took me a minute to get done. So after getting that problem solved the rest was a breeze!I did not have the head room to mount my control box above the door so I mounted it sideways and with the help of small eyebolt it was super easy and is working flawlessly! I must say it is very quiet so much so that it didn’t even scare my ladies away!! Check out my video and you can hear the motor working but I’m only inches from it. This install was the easiest thing I have done all week and it literally took minutes. With lining up door rails, screwing everything together installing control box and set it up the whole thing took me about a half hour.A big thanks goes out to this company for getting my door sent out lickity split after having issues with Amazon and their shipping department.

We bought the door because the last door was completely useless. It would open either before or after the time set or just not open or close at all. So far the door has done what the company says it does. We're confused because we didn't get the screws (my husband had to find screws that would work, which he did) for the power unit but got a remote control instead... weird cause I have a friend who recommended this door and he didn't mention a remote control added to the unit. Anyway, so far it has been working. Once it was set up it was easy to use. The cost wasn't bad. We were curious about the solar panel access if anyone has any thoughts or knows where the cord can be purchased for it.

We already have a Nestera brand opener that feels like it probably knocked off this original brand and was more expensive. We needed a 2nd opener, so we got this one from Amazon. Had to call customer support on a Friday night around 5pm and immediately got a remote worker in Europe. He was really, really helpful and enabled me to set up the opener for use with the Nestera coop. There is no way I could have figured out the calibration settings without calling them since we had to go into a few backdoor settings that I doubt I could access alone. I was really happy to have that phone support at an odd hour when heading into a weekend where I needed to use the opener immediately for new pullets we were putting outside. The time settings for opening and closing it are easy to set. The only issue you may have is if you pair this with a door that opens to a side angle like the Nestera coop versus vertically up and down like a garage door.Dec. 2023 UPDATE: Door failed to close twice during really cold weather and digital panel died for a few hours at a time, so we removed the original batteries and put in new ones. Seems to have resolved the issue.

This is the second one I have bought. It works well and keeps my girls safe. Love the light sensor that automatically raises and lowers the door.

Love my chicken guard! But I have to say calibration is a bit confusing compared to past models. BUT they have the most amazing customer support! Not only did they talk me through the process step by step but they didn’t judge me at all!! And they have the most adorable accents! So friendly and kind!********Update!!!!! Like Jacob who is the other person to review as I did, I also didn’t know the new model did not come with the sensor option. I have been emailing with various employees there and sending videos trying to get my door to work at ALL! This new door I have is the third chicken guard and they did work pretty much the same but this last model is a PIA! I have so much disappointment at this point that I spent $140 on a inter I could have just bought a timer for $8.00 at the hardware store. I truly thought it was a sensor! I have the door and all the parts. And I also don’t understand how is was working and now doesn’t do anything but has the options in the cue pad? Jacob’s review was what made me come back to my review and reread the description. I have no recourse although I only got this model in July 2023. So disappointented!!! Really WAS a chicken guard fan! Now not so much!November 2023-No Longer have chickens. Door timer I guessed closed to late. And after the weeks of emailing back and forth I finally got the code to make the door sensor. Which kept saying locked but it really meant locked out unless you pay. Not Locked as if you set it to sensor, but locked until you either pay or your chickens die. I will say this was my 3 rd unit in the years I had chickens and although I thought the price had come down over the 6 years when I purchased the last and final one. With the “ updated” description it was extremely confusing and VERY frustrating! My chickens paid the price sadly!

This was extremely easy to install, and quite straight forward to program.Use the power button to select, the arrows to to scroll. keep in mind the up and dow arrows will open functions related to door direction.After enclosing a run ( predator proof) I just wanted to be able to set a timer to let out the birds without me having to go out first thing or in the rain or bother anyone if i am away a couple days. ( yes the door is still that extra last line of defence.)This easily lifts my existing plywood door, so i didn't have to worry about changing my whole setup and worry about malfunctions due to debris falling into auto door tracks which is too common.So far. this works perfect.Very happy!

Doet wat het moet doen! Had ouder model dat aan vervanging toe was! Dit model is prijs/kwaliteit top!
