Megabloks Halo Battlescape

My son received this for his 8th birthday and loved it. In a time where most of his friends have video games and other technology toys. This one uses his imagination and he loves it. The only problem we've had, was both ends of the nonmovable display rod have broken off making it useless. Other than that it's great. He wants to get 3 more and hook them all together.

I bought this for my wife who love's anything Halo and she has all the other sets. This one is great because she can put the pieces from her other sets on this one. I like it too because now they take up less space. Great product!

Great product. Want another one since you can hook them together. 6 yo loves it. It also works with legos to it creates a great battle field for all types of toys.

My eldest grandson begged me for this battlescape for several months. I bought it for him and he is still playing with it nearly a year later. Now my youngest grandson wants one. It has held up nicely, promotes imaginative play. It comes with a few characters and pieces so is a good starter kit but of course you'll be buying more!

I purchased this for my Grandson for helping me around the house.This is a really great toy!It was a good value for the price and is constucted with great detail.My Grandson loves it! I would definitely recommend purchasing this product!I am impressed!

I did not even know that the landscapes existed, but I'm glad I found this one. For the price, I couldn't be happier! and now all of my son's individual characters have a place to battle.

My son just loves this. It is big so they have a lot to have battles on. If you can get them on sale it is better than full price.

My 9 year old son loves this set! He can't stop playing with it. Some pieces are a little hard to snap together, but overall, this is a well-made set.

Bought for a secret santa for a halo fan, much enjoyment had on boxing day, however i do not think his girlfriend was too happy as he now wants to buy the rest

gone are the days when mega bloks where the poor mans lego. they have improved ten fold over these last few years and i feel may soon be causing lego some serious trouble ! my 11 year old son is a collector of lego and has most of the starwars collection which yes are fab but are more of a cartoon version of things, since playing halo and finding these models for sale my son has chosen these time and time again for gifts, they have a more real quality to them and feel more lifelike than lego, maybe its the colours of the bloks im not sure but they do allow him to play a more realisitic game with them and they have by far become firms favorites of his and his friends.also unlike lego which needs to remain on display as they break very easily meaning no real play value once built this models can be played with as once built remain firm and strong, my son even chucks them in his bag to take to friends houses and never breaks a single one ! this battle field was a wonderful find for us as he is always desperate to set up battles and wars with all his models and figures, this was perfect and even has see through poles which attach and enable the user to place models on them to position them into a flying style or jumping and exploding look etc.it can be used in a few ways as some pieces come off and can be used in different areas, he loved it so much he wants more so he can piece them together to fill the floor !!!!! im converted to a meg bloks fan. great value and great quality, well done mega bloks

I expected this to be a load of rubbish but my son insisted he wanted it for Christmas. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived (well inside 24 hours!). His aunt bought him a second one and he loved being able to link them together. In theory you could link them together ad infinitum if you had the space (and funds!).They are solidly built and are great for collectors (and small boys) to arrange a Halo battle scene. Stands are included to fix aircraft above the battlefield. A quad bike kit and figures are also included.They are vastly overpriced at the RRP of around £40. This £19.99 price on Amazon(Supplier = The Entertainer) is very good value.

Das Battlescape ist ein erstklassiger Grundbaustein für das Wohnzimmer-Halo-Universum.Es ist solide verarbeitet und die Teilstücke, aus denen es besteht, sind sogar verschraubt.Der abnehmbare Fels ist das "i"-Tüpfelchen und in dieser Ecke kann man(n) auch gut eigene Kreationen einbauen.Mein Eindruck ist durchweg positiv und ich kann leider nicht verstehen, wie ein bestimmter anderer Rezensent das Stück (wie auch mindestens einen anderen Haloartikel: "Covenant Phantom") mit gerademal zwei Sternen abwürgt und damit die Gesamtwertung in den Keller zieht, obwohl das beschenkte Kind damit "spielt" und es "interessant findet". - Naja, Meinungsfreiheit eben.Darüber, wie "pädagogisch wertvoll" das Schlachtfeld (!) ist, lässt sich sicherlich streiten, aber gerade die Haloartikel sind besonders bei älteren Semestern beliebt, denen es nicht mehr so auf die stimmige Waldorfpädagogik ankommt.
