I love this product so much

I really enjoy the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP 3 Steps to Sculpt Palette in Light! The light shade is perfect for brightening up my under-eye area, and the dark shade works beautifully for contouring—it blends effortlessly and gives a natural shadow effect. However, the medium shade doesn’t show up on my skin at all. It feels more like a powder than a true contour shade, so I don’t really find it useful. That being said, the light and dark shades are fantastic, and they make the palette worth it. It’s easy to use and gives a flawless sculpted look. I would still recommend this palette, but just be aware that the medium shade may not work for everyone.

This makeup goes on smooth, looks great, didn't cake up on me and was perfectly fine for my sensitive skin. I ise it whenever I go out somewhere nice. I'm not a big makeup person anymore since i have three kids, but this is easy and looks great.

I have been using this product for over a year now and I have a light complexion with a combination skin type. The product arrived sealed and intact, however the issues lies more with the formula and composition of the shades in which I will break down into the following categories below: Highlight- With my experience, the highlight in the palette is not prominent and does not really show even when packed onto the skin. The only time it makes a noticeable difference is when I apply it by rubbing the tip of my nose directly onto to product. I have not found a way to get the highlight to be as prominent on my cheekbones or anywhere else I apply it on my face. It is difficult to pick up the highlighting shade on a brush or fingers and usually blends out into nothing. Also, the product is more sparkly with glitter reflexes in the pan as opposed to what I had originally expected to be a normal highlight when purchasing as advertised in the photos. Contour I am able to pick up the contour shade onto my brush however a little goes a long way since the shade is too dark. The application is a little patchy and difficult to blend out and onto liquid foundation. The appearance comes out as almost a brown stain as a result of being too severe and very warm toned. It may work better when blended out on a foundation that is too light, but I would also worry about the product making the overall makeup look appearing too high-contrast. Lighter shade The light shade next to the contour and highlight almost just blends into my skin tone. Personally, the shade does not show well on my skin and I saw no noticeable difference from my base layer of foundation, however I’m afraid to pack the product on in fear of it looking too cakey. Unfortunately overall the product feels low quality due to the appliance and formulation in addition to being a bit dry as opposed to something soft/creamy. I can’t help but feel as though this product is not up to par. I would not recommend this product myself.

The value is exceptional when you look at comparable contour palettes. I really enjoy using this, particularly the dark and light matte shades. This powder is as smooth as I've ever felt. It's a delicate, rice powder feel that applies very nicely. The color payoff is there when I apply it and lasts throughout the day. I think the dark shade is a little too dark for my fair skin, but that's OK, I just go easy on it. I use the light shade to set my concealer and extend it out over my temples, then finish up with a dusting on top of cheekbones, and down the center of nose. I'm so happy I found this inexpensive yet impressive palette. Also love the large, round shape.

I bought this in shade medium. Amazon's picture of the medium palette is very accurate to what the physical product's pigments look like, which is SO great! The contour color is a beautiful deep brown with some slight purple-ish tones in it, which makes it a PERFECT shadow-mimicking color for me. Most contours I've tried are too warm in color. I was worried the contour shade would be too dark and that I would have to use a light hand to make sure I don't apply too much at once, but the pigment is actually VERY forgiving. Easy to blend and build up without getting too much pigment too quickly. Minimal kick-back, so I don't have to keep blowing off excess powder off the palette. I use the lighter shade to set my under eyes. I haven't used the highlighter much, but I think it's a beautiful shade! Great purchase, especially for beginners!

Okay- I intended to never use to pink powder and only purchased this for the contour shade. First, the contour shade is the best muted, brown tone perfect to create that true “shadow” contour. The pink powder is great for under eye and is so smooth. Both are very pigmented and blendable! My only complaint is the “highlighter”. The highlighter does not pick up on a brush at all, and even worse with fingers. Also, it is super sparkly, not shimmery. It looked really cheap- but also, it’s a cheap pallet. Just expected more with how INCREDIBLE the rest of it is. Definitely worth the purchase.
