Craftmates 90253 Pop 'N Lock Ezy Locking Caddy, 28 Compartments, 11.5-Inch x 5.5-Inch

I purchased some of these a couple years ago elsewhere and loved them. I recently bought more. These have a rounded bottom to make it easy to get the beads out, and have a special "locking" mechanism that prevents the lids from opening unless you press a side button. This is wonderful for butter fingers like me! I wouldn't trust them not to open if dropped too high onto something like cement, but dropping it from table height onto a laminate floor, they did not open. Whew!The trays hold 6 small units securely, but they can be removed from the bigger tray. In my opinion, this is the best bead keeper on the market. Someone really put some thought into this.

The 7 four compartment units snap into the tray securely and can be arranged in any order making organizing by shape, color etc. easy. The locking lids are very secure. If you drop the tray, the individual units stay put and the lids stay lock.The compartments are small in the Pop N Lock but will hold 135 size 6mm bicone crystals or ~300 4mm bicones. The plastic seems durable, and the little locking bar thing that make these kinda childproof, can be pulled out but then these lock just like the pill containers so not as secure.Craft Mates containers I think are the best designed (at least the locking lids) & come in a variety of sizes. Other than these trays, storage systems include the 'binders' Organizers, great for storing in bookcases, & the carrier/tote that holds about 7 double (14 compartments) 2XL containers.I like Craft Mates over Bead Storage Solutions trays that hold a bunch of several individual containers as the lids on those trays can come off easily by mistake when grabbing from the ends where they latch on & the little containers just sit in the tray so if the tray falls, you got little containers all over the place. Though will say the BSS containers are clearer and come with nice labels. I think only the large 3xl CM come with labels.Highly recommend these, though can be hard to find as my supply source has been out of them 2 out of 3 times when I ordered them. I currently in the process of moving my crystals into these...Wish Craft Mates would have a double wide tray to hold 14 of the Pop N Lock containers.Wish Craft Mates would make trays for their existing 2XL containers.

Great for storing small items like sequins & beads etc. The tops lock so that you can't spill these items all over unless you have a top open and knock it off your desk. In that case you only spill the items in that small compartment and not the whole Caddy. I liked this so well I bought a second one.

LOVE this for a totally different use. For me, it will be a pill container. I saw a demo Jennifer McGuire made where she uses it for sequins cause it locks. I have a set of these for misc embellishments in a purple carrying case that is at least 10 yrs old and still works. So I know the lock would work.I sort my pills on a weekly basis into 2 pill containers that hold 7--strips of boxes that each have 4 sectioned boxes, just like this. But it's twice the size and I cannot put it in my purse cause it doesn't lock. Worse, my hands don't grasp so well and I wind up dropping my daily container once a week. The pills scatter, my husband usually winds up on the floor on a pillscavenger hunt while I'm telling our two DoxieDogs the pills truly are not treats.I got my Pop 'N Lock today and am so happy! Our scavenger hunt days are over. All of my pills fit nicely and it is half the size of my previous container. Thanks Craftmate!

I use this for jewelry storage. It's awesome because I can bring a row for vacation and keep necklaces and earrings separate and tangle free. I store this inside a purple metal toolbox for all my jewelry at home. Better than my old jewelry tree because my cat was playing with my necklaces and being a jerk. I would recommend to a friend!

Whilst the smallest of components could be stored without any risk of them being mixed up, the compartments were so small that it was difficult to get them out.
