Make sure you have a clamp style filter!
The product was fine and of good quality (Hayward is the best)... however it didn't actually work for my application. This product should be specified as the clamp style head. There are 2 head types for the ec40 filter, clamp & bolted. I went ahead and bought a new filter with the clamp system as it seems to be a better design. However, I would have preferred the correct replacement head even though the application app said this was the right part.
