This is beautiful! It holds my hair really well, I have shoulder length thick hair. The size is perfect, see photo for reference. It’s made of a nice weight metal, not too heavy, but heavy enough so it feels like a quality piece. The carving is lovely. It stays in my hair and holds the hair really well. It’s even comfortable to lean your head against the seat without feeling that it’s there. I’m incredibly pleased with this purchase and will be buying more.

These are really nice. They are surprisingly heavy and seem sturdy. I expect they'll last a very long time.

Looks great and is actually metal so it feels very sturdy and grips nicely, however the finishing is not great. I did need to sand the inside seams some as they were very rough and caught in the hair.

Heavier than expected but still works perfectly. Super cute, looks adorable in curly hair. Looking forward to wearing it to ren faire!

********** (10 stars)I purchased one for me & one for my daughter. We both LOVE them. Crows are definitely one of my most favorite animals due to the fact that I grew up with a pet crow. To say I am pleased with how well this holds my hairstyles is an understatement. They are very functional, easy to use & are of a very durable quality. The do seem to be metal, not resin & the texture & design is very pleasing.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These hair pins are beautiful and very well made but they are way too heavy for my hair. I have however used them as a cute accessory instead of a pin, putting one at the V of my neckline, in a knot in the front of a shirt, or hooked on to a belt. It makes for a good conversation starter.
