Spewing ink all over the inside of my MFC. I have written to Amazon/Vendor and we will see if I get a quality replacement for this mess.

The print quality isn't quite as crisp as new toner, but for general, everyday use it's not bad for the price. It left occasional shadows of the previous page, especially when there is a lot going on, but the shadows clear up on the next page.The price is right though.

Yes- I was VERY reluctant to buy an after-market toner cartridge for my Brother MFC-9420CN. But in the weeks before purchasing this, not one but two "brand new" GENUINE Brother TN04BK toner cartridges had failed me miserably. After printing a few decent pages each, they started streaking terribly, and the cartridges were leaking dry ink crumbs profusely inside the printer. A huge mess to clean up, and the printed pages were unusable.Here is what I think is the problem. Many of the remaining genuine Brother toner cartridges for this venerable old printer are themselves very old. The toner has dried out, or whatever.All I know is that after a month of use, this compatible toner cartridge has worked flawlessly. I was afraid my printer was at the end of its life, but this toner cartridge got me back up and running.

Have had the cartridge for 4 weeks now. It is working well--printing is clear and there was no hassle installing it. The cartridge itself was used and looked dirty when unpacked. That has not affected the operation at all. Very pleased with the results considering the price.

I was a little nervous ordering an off brand, but so far I have been very happy with it. It fit nicely, was easy to install and it has been working great.
