My first for XQD cards.
This Reader works flawless and fast too. The fit and finish is extremely good, important to ensure a good fit for the XQD cards as the pins on them seem to be fragile and easily bent if not for a "good" fit in the holder. This one will be a definite keeper!

Works as advertised
I use this to copy the photo files from my Nikon D850 to my computer. It works fine. My only issue is that it would be easier to store in my camera case if the cord were detachable.

The only XQD card reader you need.
Does the job as it states! Transfers content relatively fast and with a decent computer I was able to move about 20GB of footage in just about 5 minutes. Very happy with the performance and I’m glad that there is an alternative that is friendly towards budgets compared to the Sony XQD card reader.

Drive disappears after a few minutes
I had about 1300 files that were to be copied to the laptop. The card is a Sony 120GB G Series XQD Memory Card. CTRL+A (select all), CTRL+C (copy), select destination folder, CTRL+V (paste). Easy, right? The problem is that after copying the first few files, the drive letter that was assigned to the card reader simple disappears, and most of the files aren't copied. I struggled with this for a few hours, in 2 different laptops, in USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, and everytime the problem was the same. After a while I ended up getting my camera's USB cable and using it instead of using the card reader.I am quite disappointed with this XQD reader, and I wish I could return it for a refund.

Quality feel, quick transfer
I like the "click" you get when inserting and removing the card. Build quality is nice and the transfer speeds are very good.
