They are pretty good quality and work perfectly.

I was building a frame for a shade canopy over my koi pond. I didnt want huge 4x4 blocks that I usually use to secure 4x4's, showing in front of my yard. I dont have the means to dig the holes and bury in concrete nor did I want that since this may be a temporary project. They were much easier to hammer in than I thought. My fiance layed a short 2x4 across the top of them and hammered them right in. The first week before we had the project finished and our gussets installed, a storm blew in w 60mph winds and one 4x4 blew over and broke a weld on one of these. I actually had an extra so we were able to put it back up right away and he will reweld it someday. Otherwise I believe these would have held up had they not had such force on them without any support. I will paint the 4x4 and the brace all dark brown and they wont stand out at all in my front yard.

We wanted to add an extra section in our fenced backyard to secure our dogs and used these bases for the 4x4 posts and it was very good. Easy to install with great anchor strength. Works well!

Perfect for 4ft fence. Sturdy but make sure to use a 4x4 scrap to drive them in. You just need to drop a sledge hammer on them.. no need to pound one them.

Great idea however the quality was not great. The design for the stake is squared off on the bottom so I had to grind a point into them. They tended to twist while driving them as well. The cost was cheaper than Home Depot but the thickness is not as great. Installation takes two people.

The quality is pretty good

I’ve used these on a few projects now. It works perfectly on a 5ft 4x4 post with a hose feel attached. No wiggle. I did add a little concrete on the gate I used the posts for to add increased stability for dogs jumping on gate. Overall much easier to take a scrap peice of wood and hammer down into the ground than post hole digging. Will use these again in future projects. The bolts provided do rust quickly but they’ve been installed for over 6 months and haven’t had an issue. Have untightened and taken posts out and reinstalled back into the base with no issues.
