This is a good product, and at less than 800, a fair value for money too. However, a few points must be clarified. These are all available as part of their product listing on this site, but I missed reading. So just clarifying here - 1. this is a "USB-powered" fan. this means it doesn't have any battery. It is not rechargeable. It cannot function without power supply. You need to plug in the USB cable into a power outlet (or an active USB port) at all times. This is not a "good" or "bad" thing. Because the usage requirements may differ from person to person. It's just that my fan before this was Geek Aire and I was used to use it throughout the day and charge it in the night. so, this was a surprise 2. The fact that it is plugged into an outlet at all times, translates into less portability "while in use". Of course, you can move it as you like without any issues as it barely weighs 10 ounces / 300 grams. 3. the fan is indeed quiet when used on speed 1. This is my day 1 experience. Not sure if the noise would increase as it would get dusty with use. On speed 2 and 3 you can feel considerable increase in air throw. So, no issues there too. Now, you may be surprised (as I was) when you press the power button the 4th time expecting it to spin even higher, but it just stops! Now, this is NOT a design flaw. The fan operates in 3 speeds, but if you want speed 4, then after you put it in speed 3, next time press and hold the power button for 3 sec. It will then shift to speed 4 4. No vibrations or movement. Pretty sturdy for the kind of lightweight fan it is I am a bit annoyed that the box says "fina out more" instead of "find out more", or says "scan with Amazon App" and "scan with Transparency App" right one below the other to cause confusion (see the attached picture)... but I have learned to live with these mistakes for Chinese products... It's not their first language, just like in case of us Indians. However, it still annoys me because it shows a lack of adequate quality control procedures! Everything else is just great at this price point.

absolutely bestest! it delivered good airflow to 1metre distance! feels completely cool after few minutes in summer! no hot wind flows! only at speed 2 level you can feel cool breezes! plus there's fourth hidden speed! it delivered very fast coolest wind breezes! immediately cool down every hot foods in 10 minutes! easy uses! appearance is blacky aesthetic! it's very nice hard material. fit few places. speed is stabilising nicely!

The best portable fan. Air throw is up to 7-8 feet at tull speed. It stays firm on any surface. Doesn't vibrate or move. Since there is no battery in it, it is very light weight and can be connected to any charger or power bank. I got 3.5 hours of runtime on a 10,000 mAh powerbank on maximum speed. Go for it. It looks elegant and is very useful for multi purposes.

Hi, I received the Gaiatop 6.5-inch USB fan, but it appears defective. The orange LED only lights while pressing the power button, and the fan immediately turns off when I release it. It does not power on properly even after trying different USB cables and chargers. This issue happened on first use itself. Please help with replacement or warranty support.

very good airflow i brought the same fan again my first one blaade shaft broke off unfortuntely i used it for 3+years i will use the new one for many years too no complaints about it

This fan was a lifesaver during the summer, especially during power cuts in my hostel. It works well on powerbank or USB cabel, is quiet, and doesn't cause any disturbance;portable. The only drawback is that it doesn't oscillate, so the airflow is limited to one direction. Overall, it's a great fan and definitely worth the price.

This fan is compact and low noise, perfect as a desk fan. Its neither too big nor too small. In keralas frequent power cuts, this fan has been of great help as it can be powered from the laptop. Many times during power cuts in the night, i have used it via the laptop while sleeping. Easy to clean. Just a twist on the front cover to open it. The build quality could have been better and the three step speed control switch should have been in the front. There should have been a dedicated switch to switch off the unit. Probably they should have a new version with these fixed, of course the price will go up a little.

There are times I MUST have air movement and cooling. My old desk fan in my bedroom died after 13 years, constituting an emergency. When this arrived I was dismayed at its small size & light weight, but I gave it a chance. I’m in love! It’s POWERFUL as all heck, truly whisper quiet, moves and cools the air effectively! Could be carried in a purse or small bag and runs on USB which means off a computer, car port, or power pack. I could not be happier! Worth the price.

I was really concerned when I ordered this fan that it wouldn't live up to its reviews, but I've been pleasantly surprised. for such a small fan, this thing really moves air like something two or three times its size! and it's whisper quiet on top of that. I'm very warm-natured and can break out in a sweat sitting perfectly still in a room where the temperature goes much over 75 degrees Fahrenheit. a nice cool breeze is what I need to counteract that, and this little fan really fills the bill. I have it plugged into a Multi Port USB Splitter that is, in turn, plugged into my computer (no additional power source) and I've never had to use anything but the lowest speed setting to cool off. even on the highest speed setting, this little Gaiatop fan is still super quiet compared to the lowest speed on the Vornado that I use at home. in fact, I'll be swapping that one out too. highly recommended!

this helps keep my service dog cool in her crate! the crate fans that ruffland offers are super expensive, and I didn't want to spend $100 on one. this fan is cheap and gets the job done, and it's surprisingly powerful! I love that you can plug it in and don't have to charge it. the wire does mean that I can only use one latch on the crate door, but that doesn't matter to me. this fan is a little noisy on the highest setting, but it isn't that annoying.

This little fan may be small but it pushes out just as much air as a larger fan without all the noise! I sit near the (exterior)door in my office suite and it always feels at least 10° warmer in my area with the door opening and closing all day, especially in the NC summers. This will be a life saver for me! I've bought several "desk" fans that helped but were either too loud, needed recharging too often or just didn't move enough air. This is by far the best one I've bought for my work space in 3+ years. So glad I took a chance on it!

I love this fan so much bought it for a cruise but now I use it at my desk blows amazing air for such a little fan best fan purchase ever! Also uses almost no power amazing!
