Good potting soil.
I used this soil to plant a broken off leaf of a jade plant, and it worked swimmingly. The plant seems to be thriving and I have no complaints about the potting soil in terms of smell or any other thing.

Good Quality Potting Mix, But Be Mindful of Mushrooms
recently purchased this potting mix, and overall, I’m quite satisfied. The soil feels light, airy, and well-draining, which made planting very easy. My plants seem to be thriving so far, and the mix retains moisture without feeling too soggy. However, about a week after planting, I noticed some small mushrooms popping up in the pot. While it initially worried me, I learned that this is common with organic-rich soil mixes. The mushrooms are harmless and indicate the presence of healthy microorganisms. I just removed them and adjusted my watering routine to avoid overwatering.Pros:• Light, airy texture• Holds moisture well without becoming compact• Perfect for indoor and outdoor plantsCons:• Mushrooms may appear due to the organic material• Requires careful moisture management to avoid fungal growth

Usually Love; Last Batch Not So Great!
I usually LOVE this soil; however, the last batch I bought was lacking in quality. It was a lot darker and moist, and saprophytic fungus is thriving from it. This is the first time I am having to deal with saprophytic fungus. I recommend implementing some quality control if possible. Let me know if you want the SKU #’s of the bags.

Succulent Soil
I received a lovely succulent from a coworker as a birthday gift and after having it at my desk for a few weeks, I knew it was time to repot it. I don’t have a green thumb at all and have unintentionally killed a variety of plants, including succulents.I really appreciate this gift though so I decided to do what I could to give it a chance to thrive. I looked through a few brands but decided on this one since it was a decent amount for only $10.I didn’t notice any bad smells. You can definitely feel the sand mixed in the soil. And the soil was a bit damp, which I appreciate since I like to think the moisture will be enough to keep the succulent alive while the soil settles. (Not sure if this check out lol. But I’m a serial overwaterer so I don’t want to risk drowning it). There is tree bark mixed in this soil and the only thing I found annoying was that there was quite a bit of large pieces that I had to pick out since my containers were too small. This shouldn’t be an issue with larger pots but it was a hassle for the mini ones. The soil can also be packed quite a bit. It took me a while to have enough around the stem of my succulent to keep it steady and standing alone. Same thing with the leaf propagations.I will update my review as time passes to see how the plants hold out.
