I'm writing this review in response to those that have complained that these discs won't work with their DVD Recorders. I too, have encountered this problem (though not when I first started buying them, oddly enough - perhaps the lens needs to be cleaned?).If you are having difficulty formatting these discs, try burning a small file onto them first using your computer/laptop. My DVD Recorder refuses to format the discs when they are completely blank, but once I have put something onto them with my computer - a small image or music file burned straight onto the disc - they work perfectly. Doing this for 25 discs is time-consuming, but once it is done you shouldn't have any more problems.4 stars because the discs are good quality (and DVD-RW is the only way to go!), but it can take time to format all of the discs. For the price though, it is worth the effort.UPDATE - If you cancel the burn shortly after starting (approx. 30 seconds), wait for the disc to be ejected, then format it using your DVD Recorder, it saves a lot of time. You might get a warning about the disc becoming unusable, but I haven't had any problems so far.

Have used this brand for a number of years and always found it to be reliable. Item arrived within delivery schedule/securely packed.

I purchase these CDs on a fairly regular basis as part of our church cd ministry and I have never been disappointed.yet. They always arrive on time and are well up to the task. No hesitation in recommending both the CDs and their suppliers

Not disappointed with the product, but that I can't use them as intended. I did intend to use them for recording TV programmes in my Panasonic VHS/DVD recorder. The machine formats them OK, but then refuses to record to them. It records OK to non-rewritable discs, so that is what I now use (same brand of disc). They may come in handy for use with computers.

Ordered 4x25 DVDs. First box started to fail at around 10th disk. Recording was defective in the final 12th of the overall length. Re-formatted the disk (PVR struggled) and tried again didn't record, viewing just displays dashes and Xs. Tried another disc and OK. Used a disk on a different PVR, ended up with dashes and Xs. Tried another disc, got a recording that was defective at the end again. Used a DVD of the same brand that I bought in WH Smith, recording OK.

AFTER USING THE DISKS HAVE FOUND THAT THE DISKS NEED TO BE WIPED WITH A LINT FREE CLOTH,THE REASON FOR THIS IS, IF YOUR DVD RECORDER/PLAYER IS A BIT SENSITIVE A MESSAGE COMES UP WHEN FORMATTING THE DISK WAS UNSUCESSFUL, JUST WIPE THE DISK WITH THE LINT FREE CLOTH AND TRY FORMATTING THE DISK AGAIN THISSHOULD MAKE THE DISK FORMATABLE AGAIN,I USE FOUR FOUR DVD/VIDEO PLAYERS /RECORDERS BECAUSE I RECORD LOADS OF TV PROGRAMS,I AM NOW RETIRED SOME TIME AGO, SO USE THE DVDS QUITE OFTEN TO RECORD ON TO,ONE OF MY DVDS IS A BIT SENSITIVE SO USE ONE OF THE OTHER DVD PLAYERS TO FORMAT THESE DISKS SOME TIMES SO HAVE NOT HAD TO THROW OUT ANY DISKS AWAY, PLUS HAVE STARTED RECORDING FOR A SECOND TIME ON THESE DISKS.I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THESE DISKS WELL WORTH THE MONEY.BROUGHT THROUGH AMAZON.CO.UK
