Water-Rebirth Variable Speed Controller for Asynchronous Garden Pond Waterfall Fountain Pump

I bought this for our Aqua Pulse AP5200 pond filter for our 1200 gallon pond wading pool. The controller comes with instructions and info for the TUYA phone app. Plug pump into bottom and 3 prong controller cord into outlet. Pair it and it identifies as a "Chinese symbol and a water pump" for the controller which is a little weird. Once you plug the controller in it starts to pair and you will know by the blinking green light. Once paired it remains solid. The remote it comes with worked fine for me unlike others said. Mounting was easy. The timer is in military time so time on for 5am is 5 for hour and 00 for minutes and time off for 9pm is 21 for hour and 00 for minutes Will definitely help us save money as our pump is just under 400 watts and hour and we only need this running at about 30 to 40 % most of the time to keep the pond clean. Surprised how very limited options there are for pond pumps. Was using a power tool variable speed controller before but that could cause problems with burnout of the motor and overheating the controller from what others have said I guess. Not much out there for this device so I thought I would share my 3 cents.

Pros:Great controller, remote works wonderfully, very easy to program. Easy to use with or without the App.App works on WIFI anywhere in the world. Much better than my former Tidal Wave controller, which required me to connect to separate WIFI network.And no exterior buttons and screen to deteriorate like on the Tidalwave, rendering it useless. Plus it keeps it's memory during power off, unlike the Tidal Wave I had before. This unit is SOOOO much better!Cons:Couldn’t find the app on the App Store. They don't list the app in the instruction video. Finally Found it in the printed directions, and it's the only place you can find the app to download. It's called "Tuya Smart"Very easy to connect, and works great once you can find it.Sellers phone number and website listed under Amazon support is disconnected. Could get in touch with support.

My old pump went out and went back to the place it previously purchased it from only to find the price had doubled. So I found this pump on Amazon and got it thinking it might be closer to my original pump. This one is by far a great quality and designed pump that is easy to use and operate. The functionality of the remote is very simple to understand and easy to use.

This is a great addition to my pond. I have a small pond and the pump that runs the waterfall and filter is a bit too powerful for the size of my pond. The ability to fine tune the water flow has made a huge difference. I can adjust the pump so I get just the right amount for a gentle flow over the spillway. I like that it uses the Smartlife or Tuya smart app. It allows me to integrate it into my Home Assistant Which I use to control everything in my home. I'm a bit geeky so I like to have a central location to control everything. Using the Smart Life app it's very easy to integrate it into Home Assistant even without an Internet connection.

The remote control buttons stick terribly. Return it got another, it had the same problem. Send it back got another brand. It worked much better.

So far, the item is working great with problems. This product was easy to install and set up. I gave it 4 stars because it arrived with the box opened.
