I absolutely love these dishes! So clean and sleek, light weight but not too light! I heated a bowl of soup in the micro for 2.5mins the bowl was not hot to the touch and the soup was heated perfectly! The mugs are so comfortable to drink out of- drinking coffee lead me to 3 cups!!! It was packed perfectly- not one chip! Arrived on time- what more can I ask for! They look gorgeous in my in cabinets!

Playes are okay just needed to be a little bigger! Overall the set is completely adequate for a small family!

I agree with the other reviewer. I'm not sure why the negative reviews.??? These are a nice creamy white color, with no black specks or imperfections as was stated by others. I even ordered mine from the warehouse deals. I love these dishes! They are just what I wanted. Square, but not to square. I will mention that the plates "seem" a bit smaller, as another reviewer mentioned. But it is because of the shape. When coming from round dinner plates, the square takes some getting used to. Just imagine that all four corners of your plates have been removed. Hence less eating space. Other than that, they are the same diameter. But I was looking for a nice clean look for plating appeal, with a slightly modern, edge. These fit the bill without being too harsh. Now my meals look like they just came off of the food network shows. It's amazing what difference plating can add to a meals appeal. The coffee mugs are very nice too. They fit perfectly in the hand and don't take up too much room in our cabinets. The bowls are different. Again, it's the shape that causes them to appear that you are getting a smaller bowl. But because the edges dip down a bit, I would not use them for everyday cereal, just because we tend to be messy. I saved some of my deeper bowls from a previous set for that. But for having dinner guests, and desserts, wow! They are really pretty and can make a bowl of fruit look completely elegant. As far as durability, they have a nice weight and feel to them. I'm pretty sure they will hold up to vigorous use. I have ran them through the dishwasher twice now. They came out clean, no stains. I was worried about that being white. Also, no knife cuts. I worried about steak knives leaving marks. If they do chip, at least it shouldn't be to visible being they are white. I had red plates for about five years and those looked horrible with even a tiny chip. Overall I highly recommend and am looking forward to entertaining in style now.

I love these plates! I had been looking to purchase this style of dinner plate for a while, but couldn't bring myself to purchase a set that included cups and saucers that I would never use. I decided to purchase 2 sets of these plates just before Thanksgiving and they are perfect. They are microwave and dishwasher safe as well as scratch resistant. I did have 1 issue with them. about 2 months after my purchase, I made an omelet and placed it on the dinner plate. As I then went to pour a drink, I heard a snap. I noticed that a crack had appeared in this dinner plate. Even the best products could have an odd flaw so I contacted customer service through the amazon site and received a response from the company. They told me that there was not a warranty on the dinnerware, but if I sent them a photo of the damaged plate, they would send me a one time replacement. I followed the instructions and shortly after I received not 1 but 2 replacement plates. The plates are great and the customer service was outstanding!
