One of the most important tools in the toolbox
If you don't have one of these yet, get one. Don't look any further, don't put it off. Just do it. I purchased this to use and keep in my truck in case of emergencies, due to a story a friend of mine told me about it saving him in a pinch. I had no idea how often I would actually use this device. I do own another brand as well, but this is by far my favorite. I have used this to start my V8 F150, a Lincoln MKZ, Ford Edge, Ford Explorer, multiple mowers, and golf carts. I've even used this as a portable battery for my heated camping chairs for baseball / football season.I love the large digital face, easy to read, and easy to operate. I haven't come across anything yet that this thing won't start. Even a DEAD DEAD battery can be brought back to life to a degree. There is a trick to turn off the safety block in order to start a completely dead battery. I really appreciate the thickness of the positive and negative clamps on this unit. I hate when you have a device with little thin clamps, that just slip off once the engine turns over. Not to worry here, these clamp on, and stay where you leave them. The bright LED lamp on the front has come in handy on multiple occasions. Charge time is likely 2 hours for a full charge, maybe a bit longer. I'm not sure. I use this so often, and rarely have to charge it, so I can't comment on the charge time too much. However, what you're jumping has a direct impact on how much juice it takes to start the engine. Keep this in mind. The V8 truck, on a full charge, you would likely get 6-10 jumps. But on anything smaller, I can't say. It lasts so long that it really doesn't matter. For the money, this is a device that I wouldn't go without ever again!

My favorite smart jump starter (and I've owned a few of these)
The media could not be loaded. Pros:Powerful jump starter in a small packageThick jumper cables with wide jaws on connectors to accommodate wide battery terminals300 lumen flashlight to illuminate work area, or for use in emergenciesCarry case and AC adapter included.Case is easy to store and remove items (compared to others where I have to put things in there just right to fit)Smart battery voltage chip automatically starts jump sequence if it sees a battery voltageBoost override mode allows very dead batteries to still be startedCons:Sides of screen can collect some dust due to design, but having a case with this unit helps thisScreen glare can obstruct view at times, but is never to the point where it cannot be seenThe Powrun P-One portable jump starter packs a lot of power into a very compact unit. The 2500A of available power started a very dead battery that I had on a 4.6L V8 with ease, starting the car with a higher RPM than a fully charged battery. I really like the voltage auto detect feature that automatically powers on the unit and is ready to jump start a car, long as the car has enough voltage. This makes this unit extremely user friendly with not even a button having to be pressed to use. I have used other units that are finicky to use and particular with battery voltage to even give a charge and be useful. It is also nice that this unit comes with a boost override mode that allows the unit to provide power to the car in the case the voltage is low enough that the unit can’t detect voltage (I had another unit on amazon that would not work at all if it couldn’t see enough voltage, it just defeats the purpose in that case of the unit). This unit out of all the ones that I’ve had (I have a fleet of vehicles and like to have one of these on the road in all of them) is by far my favorite due to its usability, power, and included accessories.Things I like:The P-One brings a lot to the table for the money. The jump starter itself is very powerful and has a nice set of features. It has multiple uses as it can also be used as a battery bank, and includes a 300 lumen flashlight for nighttime use (has a very nice flood beam). I like that it includes a carry case to keep things organized and protected, along with a charging block. Not many units at this price point include both of those things. It seems that a lot of companies have gotten away from including an AC adapter as it's assumed we all have them by now, but I appreciate when one is included. I especially enjoy the case that is included. The unit and accessories are stored easily inside of it, and the protective flap prevents scuffing to the face of the unit. The included jumper cables have nice wide jaws that fit around wider battery terminals / connectors. This is a great feature, as some units come with jaws that only open maybe ¾ of the P-One pro and are not able to get around wide terminals. I found this out when using another unit to jump start a 90s ford, the only option was the bolt on the battery connection that was small and rusted, this was no problem for the P-One to get around the entire terminal. The usability of this unit is great as I have discussed. As long as you have some juice left in the battery, you just connect the unit and start the car. No fiddling around with finicky units or pressing buttons (can you tell I have had a unit in the past that had poor usability?), it just works. I can know if I throw this in my SO’s car, or give one to my grandparents for emergencies, that they will have no trouble using it at all and that gives me peace of mind.Things I don’t like:I find it difficult to find aspects of this unit that I dislike, as it is apparent that this company has put a good deal of time and effort into making this unit as easy to use for the consumer as they can. As seen in the video, glare can obstruct the glossy screen at times, but even in full sunlight I haven’t been in a situation where I couldn’t read the display. I thought the piano black may have been easy to damage given the feel, but I have had a similar unit before for almost a year that sits in a work truck and has had no significant damage to it. Only thing is the curves on the screen can be a bit of a dust magnet, but not that it’s difficult to clean.Overall, I am very impressed with this unit. Like I have stated, I have owned and used quite a few of these jump starters and this one has addressed really all major gripes that I have. It seems to have it all, small package, great battery clamps, carrying case and AC adapter, powerful output, its all there. I know with this unit, no matter how dead a battery is, this unit will be able to start it. Just take a listen at some of the competitor videos of some jump starters, you will hear that the engine RPM is nowhere near as much as the P-One, and that demonstrates that the rating they are giving this isn’t just inflated to be a marketing tactic like is commonly seen on some offerings. This booster walks the walk and talks the talk, and I can say that I will be purchasing a few more of these and replacing a few that I have in the field that aren’t up to this standard.

Worked great when I followed instructions
I've had this sitting in my car for nearly a year after buying and charging it up. I finally had to use it today. Came out from having lunch with a friend at a restaurant to a battery that was too weak to start my car. Took my little powrun jump starter out, turned it on, and hooked the cables up, it still showed 100% battery on the powrun after sitting in my car for nearly a year, yay! I tried starting the car, it didn't start on the first try, so I read the instructions to make sure I had done it right. It had said to hook it up then turn it on, so I turned it off and back on, got the green "start" on the powrun, and tried again. The car started that time, yay! The first time, I hadn't had the green "start" on the powrun, so I guess you have to actually follow the directions and hook it all up before turning the unit on. Not a problem, it worked, that's all I care about. Just pointing it out in case others may do as I did at first and think it's a problem with the unit. My friend had stayed, just to make sure I could get my car started, and I went to my favorite battery place and got a new car battery. It was almost 4 years old, which is pretty good for a battery to last here in FL. Very happy with my powrun!
