Throughout 50 years of gardening we have used almost every brand of water timer on the market. Rainpoint ( we have four of them) is by far the best we have ever had. Easy to set up with a wide range of options for setting watering times. We use one for our window boxes,one for hanging baskets ,one for our underground sprinklers and the fourth where ever needed. Noticed one comment which said it could not be set for more than 10 minutes of manual watering. That is not the case it can be set to water for hours manually.

Wow, I'm so impressed with this sprinkler! It seriously works perfectly, I haven't had any issues at all. The battery life is amazing, it just keeps going and going. Setting it up was a breeze too, super easy! Honestly, it's a total game changer for my lawn care routine.

I received the RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer within 2 business days and the timer unit was self contained no physical setup required. After installing the batteries which was very easy, the battery compartment is pressure sealed with a soft plastic gasket which prevents water from entering and damaging the batteries (nice feature). There was no power on/off switch to the RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer, which is a nice feature to save on battery life. After the batteries were installed you are ready to setup the watering cycles. There are 6 settings (Off, On, how often, how long, Start, Set Clock) which walk you through setting up the current local time, how often do you want to watering cycle, long do you want the water to run, and what time do you want to start the water.The quality of the material was good and sturdy. I would recommend this product based on price, quality and easy of setup and use.

It is simple to setup and it works. No need to water veggies by hand anymore. It stopped working after 6 months but no big deal. I contacted Customer support yesterday and a replacement is already on it's way.

The instructions, build quality and longevity is why we decided to purchase additional units from this manufacturer. The first step is to follow the instructions. Testing the check valve as detailed not only in the instructions but additionally on the outside of the box should give one an idea of the importance of this step. The build quality is top notch. From the brass connector to the super tight battery housing and tight switches...previous units have held up for over two years in the hot Louisiana sun. The battery life is off the charts. Setup is uncomplicated and easy. The quality of the washers and filter also have stood the test of time. I am sure there will always be a 1% failure rate on production like all things, but the ones we have that have been used from new to three years in the hot tropical climate have been 100%.

Needed to replace another brand garden hose timer which broke very quickly after use. Very easy to set up, install, and use. This unit is much more substantial than previous brand purchased, and is working beautifully. No leaks and reliable on/off as set. No need to worry about my flowers.

i now have three of these, I prefer them to the larger 2 outlet units because i can put them right where i need them. I've had one for 6 months now and it's still working great. If you let these timers freeze they will fail, but otherwise these seem robust and function great
