I'm an experienced user of straight edge razors. I decided to try this item and found it great to use. I used simple Gillette 7 o'clock razors on a week old unshaved beard.Pro tip: don't use safety razors on dry skin. I don't even use soap for my first pass, massage your beard with oil properly, then wet with water and shave, keep the shaving area wet with water while shaving and safety razors will glide like a breeze.This is a great piece compared to the one gifted to me which i have been using for several years.

This product is highly overpriced.The handle is not sufficiently long.Shaving wasn't as comfortable as ready made razors, understandable.But either this should have been cheaper or it must have been so good. Not both, So not recommended.
