Purchased when first released. Never got round to watching, have just gone to play and print quality on discs is really poor with all discs being blank except the WB logo screen!

OTH8: A Solid Season
I've had reservations about One Tree Hill since Lucas and Peyton departed in season 6 as I wondered how the show would cope without them. I've been a fan since the very beginning so it's good to see another solid season that shifts the focus onto other characters such as Brook, Hayley and Alex. The misdirect of the first episode felt overly romantic but fortunately the drama resumes quickly with certain characters fighting for their lives. All the characters develop well over the course of season 8 - there's pregnancies, accidents, a wedding, the dreaded mother-in-law, careers ending and beginning, love triangles and even Millie clucking in a chicken suit. The mid-season finale was certainly a highlight and overall the season fairs well against previous ones with a good balance of different storylines and humour. There are a few cheesy moments along the way such as the cringeworthy superhero episode and the toaster-pastry product placement but I don't think I'll be the only one feeling sad when season 9 rolls around and it's time to say goodbye to this odd, lovely bunch of characters.

Action packed!
This is one of those series which got really good then pants right at the end! This series of the show was full of action and constant things happening so was a good watch but had lost some of the pivotal characters - peyton and lucas are gone and dan and debbie were not in it enough. This series had shootings and revenge, love triangles and pregnancy and weddings.I love the One Tree Hill series and this is by far one of the most action packed of the set.

Worth watching.
I was pleasantly surprised with this series, as it felt like the creators had some real fun with the episodes and it was enjoyable to watch e.g. the superhero episode was unexpected but humorous to see. Definitely enjoyable to see how the characters develop even more and even if you just want to see how the show progresses from the cliffhanger that we were left with from series 7, it will be worth watching.

Fantastic
This series is brilliant, one minute it has you on the edge of your seat while the action takes place on screen with the on going threat of Katie towards Quinn and Clay to you weeping with happiness as Brooke's big day appears and the joy of the new arrival in the Scott household. Can't wait to own the 9th and final season, to this brilliant series.Missing Lucas and Peyton........
